Dr. Gates and Dr. Capozza are both members of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Cincinnati Dental Society. Recently, both doctors were recognized as Top Dentists in Cincinnati, as published in Cincinnati Magazine.
Dr. Capozza is originally from Spring Hill, Florida and attended the University of Florida. While at Florida he completed both his undergraduate and dental education, graduating from dental school in 2011. In 2012, Dr. Capozza and his wife, Lauren, moved to Ohio. They have two sons and in their free time they enjoy watching sports (Go Gators!), cooking, camping, church activities, and going to the Cincinnati Zoo. Dr. Capozza is also passionate about continuing dental education and has guest lectured for pre-dental and dental hygiene students at the University of Cincinnati.

Excellent staff: from front scheduling, chair side assistants, hygienists and especially Dr. Gates. All were very courteous, patient and professional. Highly recommend this office.

I have been with this particular Family Dentistry for a bit over 30 years - since 1990 - I have left once, not because of their services and/or work, but wanted something a bit closer to my residence. That was a mistake on my part. Leaving - only to discover that there was nothing that would compare to their years of care & service for me and my family- they go to great lengths to be sure that you are taken care of and satisfied with their level of work and service. Every employee treats me and my family with a level of respect - following up to see how we are as well as even offering referrals if other services might be required. It is really that full care package experience - from the reception area to the cleaning and to their doctors - they are truly a holistically family oriented dentistry that is second to none in my humble opinion. Thank you all for everything you do as well putting yourself at risk every day to support each and every one of your clients.

Great place to get your teeth cleaned! Dr Greg and his staff are efficient and kind. Tina is a fantastic dental hygienist. Her attention to detail and small side conversation during your cleaning makes going to the dentist a breeze.

Dr. capozza did a very good job with my fillings. They were deep and wide but that did not bother him a bit. He is very good at what he does. Very professional.

Just want to say they are excellent . I needed some emergency dental Care , and Dr Gates got me in right away. I live 700 feet away from his office and never even new it was there . Happy to know that I have a good dentist right by me . Highly recommend this place !

I don't think I could give a more positive review for a dentist. I visited Dr. Capozza and staff here for a cleaning and some other work. I hadn't been frequenting the dentist and had some anxiety about it. You couldn't find a more caring dental staff. They were very laid back, informative, and professional. I saw another review that mentioned the hygienist poking the patients gums repeatedly and this couldn't be less true. I hadn't had an adequate cleaning in years, my gums are very sensitive, and I experienced very little pain. If you live close by, do yourself a favor and give this office a try.

Recently had work done by the associate Doctor. Didn't feel a thing. Absolutely painless from start to finish. Very compassionate and concerned about the patients comfort level through the whole procedure.

Growing up I did not see a dentist. It was about 15 years that I was unable to have any cleanings or fillings done. The staff at Gates Family Dentistry was personable, and professional. They never made me feel embarrassed about my teeth. I knew it was going to be a long road to get my teeth the way I wanted them to be, but they made every appointment as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend them!

Being new to the area I went with a dentist that was both close to where I live and got good reviews online. Even though I had an appointment and showed up plenty early to fill out the necessary paperwork, I was still 10 minutes late being called back. During the cleaning the hygienist repeatedly poked my gums with the tools and showed no concern for either my level of comfort or any feedback. The dentist that came to look at my teeth showed no signs that he wanted to get to know me and acted like he was more concerned about getting back to other tasks. Needless to say I will be looking for another dentist and will not be going back here.
