Kay was amazing! She was so sweet and kind to my nervous child. She did a great job of setting expectations and settling anxieties. Definitely the best, by far! The dentist's are the best I've met!

Absolutely the worst dental experience I've ever had. I would give this place a 0 out of 5 stars if I could. I made my appointment months ago because I was a new patient and they told me they did not have any openings. I told the receptionist what was going on (extreme tooth pain, multiple cavities and an abscess) and she said they would be able to help me with that. When I called to confirm my appointment and I stressed again how much pain I was in the receptionist changed her response and told me that the appointment was just for a cleaning and they probably wouldn't be able to help me with my other problems. I was shocked because I have been waiting for this appointment for MONTHS hoping to get some relief. I still went because I was hoping they would be able to help me in some way but I was only met with snarky people who obviously have no interest in helping people. All they did was tell me how bad I let my tooth get, there was nothing they could do, and they referred me to someone else. Even though I specifically made sure their office was able to do root canals. I am so upset by this experience. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place to anyone who is in serious pain or in need of serious and professional dental work. All they will do is tell you how stupid you are and refer you to someone else. Response to their response: Yes, I am aware that it was my first appointment. Thank you for reiterating that even though I made that very clear in my review above. Again, I made the appointment at your office specifically because on YOUR website it states that you offer root canal treatment under your "advanced services" tab. This is also something that I discussed with your receptionist MONTHS AGO when I made my appointment. Also in your response you said "the only way to know what treatment needs to be completed is by visiting the office and having an exam" This is exactly what I was trying to do!!! When I originally made the appointment I made it clear how much pain I was in and I made it clear that I had an abscessed tooth. Like I said before, your receptionist told me that this is something you could help with. Is that not coming in for an exam? Also, I am fully aware of all the other types of doctors that can assist with tooth pain, you do not need to list them off like I am some kind of idiot. If your office is not up to par with others and not equipped to help people with certain dental problems, maybe you shouldn't be advertising that you're able to do so your website. Just a thought. Finally, your response absolutely did NOT help me understand the disrespectful and mediocre service that I received at your office today. I'm still just as disappointed, mad, & in pain. Thank you for utterly wasting my time and screwing me over while I waited for the past couple of months until my appointment. I should have gone somewhere else to get real help.

Simply the best! Dr. Gates and Gates have been caring for me and my family for many years. Their office is top notch and offers state of the art care. I've had different hygienists clean my teeth and all have been so polite and thorough. I highly recommend the location, facility, staff, and dentists!!

I've had fillings done twice and both times I've mentioned if the cavities are too deep I want them pulled.. neither time has he pulled them he has just put fillings in which he said that's about 99% filling it's going to be sore... the first time I hurt for over a week and couldn't eat, now the same this is going on but this time is worse I can't even touch my tooth. I haven't been able to eat since Wednesday of last week. They will not prescribe anything but antibiotics which I've been taking for 4 days now and they told me it would be better and no longer be hurting by the 2nd-3rd day.. I'm no doctor but antibiotics do not help with pain. I'm suppose to go back on the 18th and will not go. It's awful that I'm in more pain after I leave there than I was before I went.

The dental hygienist was very nice and competent. Bad experiences with both James and Justin Gates. I had to return a week after James Gates bonded my tooth because it was rough and yellowing in a week! Justin did make it smoother. I had a a cavity filled (or so I thought) last April. The filling came out and exposed a broken tooth 4 month's later. I went to another dentist because I no longer found either to be competent. The filling came out because Dr James Gates neglected to remove all of the cavity. I can't believe they get by with having the insurance companies pay them for work they do not even do.

I don't even know where to begin!! I would like to say the dental hygienist and I didn't catch her name but she was amazing and went above and beyond to make my visit as pleasant as possible and treated me with kindness and respect. Now the doctor on the other hand was all bussiness even lied to me about the number of teeth he was pulling!!! I mean who does that??? We discussed it before he started and then he up and changed it. Then because I got dizzy afterwards he talked down to me as if I was a child. Then sends me home in extreme pain without the pain medicine promised before hand. This has been one of the worst days I have had in a long time. I am suppose to go back in two weeks and I'm not sure I can endure this pain and treatment again.
