Dr. Michelle Goodrich is a 1997 graduate of the University of North Carolina. She joined our practice in 2008 after previously practicing in Chapel Hill, Concord, and Burlington. She earned her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in 1993 and completed a General Dental Practice Residency at UNC Hospitals in 1999. She is married to Robert Goodrich, a dermatologist in Greensboro and has two wonderful children. She enjoys spending time with her family.
Nicole has been practicing as a Dental Hygienist for the last 8 years.She has also worked as a Certified Dental Assistant in multiple specialties for 7 years. Nicole is passionate about providing optimal care and focusing on the comfort of her patients. When she is not working, she enjoys time with her husband, two children (Keaton and Macie) and their puppy Bauer.

I highly recommend Gate City Dental for all of your dental needs. I have been going here about 7 years based on a recommendation. I recently had a difficult crown and could not have been more pleased with the work by Dr. Goodrich and Kristyn. Tbry make a great team.

Usually scared of dental offices but Carrie and Dr. McNeil made everything seem so easy, hope I don't have another loose tooth soon but if I do I know where I am coming for the extraction.

Well, my regular dentist was in the process of moving into a new building and I got left with a cracked tooth needing a crown. I called these guys out of the blue and they got me in and crowned without any patient history from me. It was pretty nice of them since they didn't know me from Adam.

Dr Irvin and Carrie recently did a crown on me and they were fast and efficient and it was completely pain free! For someone who doesn't like to have dental work done it was a pleasant experience! Highly recommend this office!

Dr. Goodrich is a very good dentist. She is very gentle and pleasant. Kristen is as good of assistant there is. Debra and Nicole very friendly and patient with patients. Just had a few appointments here so far and I am very pleased so far. They handled an emergency for me and I am very thankful. Glad to call this place my dental needs home.

I began experiencing extreme pain with a tooth late night. I called Gate City Dental after hours and left a message informing them of my situation. I received a call from them the next morning as soon as the office opened. They had me in for examination within an hour. It turned out that I needed a root canal. Dr. Irving and her staff worked their magic and had me an appointment at 2:45 that same day to take care of the situation. Amazing service, caring people. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else, nor should you.

I cannot say enough good things about the office. The staff goes above and beyond to make their patients feel comfortable and at ease. They remember important details and events of my personal life, down to sending me a Happy Birthday text on my birthday. I've been coming here since I was a kid and now I have the pleasure of bringing my child here and he had the most amazing experience. His previous dental experiences at other offices were so horrible he had developed dental anxiety and now he's no longer afraid to go to the dentist. We will be patients for life!

Dr. Goodrich and her Assistant Kristan operated as a real team with me and included me in what they were doing. They were both caring and made me feel welcome and comfortable. I have complete confidence in Dr.Goodrich, and appreciate her humility in assessing every situation to make it the best.

From beginning to end the staff and doctors are amazing. I have had all the doctors work on my teeth and each are great. Dr. Jon Hartley is now my primary doctor. He is knowledgeable on the most up to date procedures, great chair side manner and makes you feel comfortable by explaining procedures until you understand. He always has your best interest in mind. Bonus: he didn't make me cry with the numbing injection ( I'm a whimp when it comes to needles). I would 100% recommend this clinic

Highly recommended practice. Everyone is friendly and cheerful. I once had a cleaning and they noticed that I needed a cavity filled. Just so happened they had an opening right after my appt so I just swapped chairs and they went right to it! I can't even tell which tooth it was anymore they did such a good job.

I loved it as much as anyone can on a visit to the dentist! The staff are very efficient and courteous and I heartily recommend the practice.
