Dr. Briggs received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from University at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. She then went on to complete a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Phoenix, Arizona, where she was able to treat medically compromised patients in all aspects of general dentistry. Prior to dental school, she received a B.S. in Biomedical Science from Rochester Institute of Technology in her native city of Rochester, NY. She is excited to be a part of Gastonia Family Dentistry where she can provide excellent patient care with the use of cutting edge technology.

Dr. Matthew Drake is a native of Portland, OR. He completed two years of undergraduate studies at Oregon State University before transferring to West Virginia University to play Division 1 soccer for the Mountaineers. Here, he finished his Bachelor of Science and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Very rarely do I ever enjoy going to the dentist. I rescheduled my appointment so many times with them just because I was so nervous. I was seen by dr. Hart who was very nice & very informative! Amber (hygienist) was extremely friendly, informative and explained everything while she cleaned my teeth. Highly recommend them!

Just had my new patient appointment with my hygienist, Emily, and Dr. Mull. They were very professional and friendly explaining every step of the process including several advanced scanning tools that were used. I was seen quickly after arriving. This was the best dental experience I've had. Glad I selected Gastonia Family Dentistry!

Paid over 5 grand for fillings and have had the same filling fill twice not and it still comes out. Worst dentist in town for sure. Even going charge me 475 to refill it knowing it wont hold.

Best dentist appointment I've ever had. Everyone was super polite & friendly. It really felt like they cared about comfort. As a self pay patient who has to look at prices to make treatment decisions, I didn't expect much, but they were so wonderful! I don't ever want to go to another dentist again

Pleasantly surprised at how relaxed I was today trying a new dentist. Everyone was positive and informative. The office was very clean and nicely decorated. For the first time in my life I'm NOT stressing about the procedures to get my teeth healthy and smile pretty again.

I had some really bad sensitivity on a tooth and Dr. Mull and her assistant Emily took really good care of me. They made me feel so comfortable and treated me like a friend instead of just another patient. The evening after getting the filling done on the tooth that was bothering me I tested it with some chocolate and I have no sensitivity on that tooth anymore. It's amazing. I appreciate Dr. Mull and Emily for taking really good care of me. I will definitely be bringing my friends and family to them!

As a patient I feel Dr Briggs and her dental assistant did a fabulous job with my crown today. Drilling time was minimal. They are kind, caring, and compassionate during the treatment process. I had no fear or anxiety while they were working on me. I would recommend this dentist and office.
