Debbie has been a dental hygienist for 40 years, 21 of them with Dr. Shults. She was a member of the first graduating class at UTHSCSA School of Dental Hygiene, and she also has a B.S. in Health Professions Education from Southwest Texas. She loves spending time with her 5 grandchildren and her basset hound Harry. Along with embroidering and sewing when she has time, Debbie loves to support her 2 sons, both high school football coaches, by going to as many games as possible!
A dental assistant before she became a dentist's wife, you can still find Susan assisting Dr. Shults, helping out at the front desk, keeping the flowers in the front blooming and greeting people as they walk in! When not in the office, Susan is usually baking, tending her rose garden, or playing ball with Otis and Bailey - the Shults' two large Labrador rescue pups.
Liz has worked in dentistry for over 19 years, 9 of them as a chair side assistant to Dr. Shults. She has a servant's heart and is dedicated to the comfort and care of each patient that enters our office. Liz keeps busy at home with her husband and THREE boys and enjoys playing with her basset hound Buster!
David has been a Dental Lab Technician for over 38 years, 9 of them with Dr. Shults. He loves to supply the office with delicious home-grown fruits and vegetables from his back yard garden. When David isn't working in the Lab or in the garden, he is home playing mandolin, guitar, or harmonica.
Dr. Shults has been in practice for 26 years. After completing his undergrad at Texas A&M (Gig 'Em!) He attended dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center here in San Antonio. In his spare time, Dr. Shults loves to go off-roading in his Jeep, bird hunting, fishing, and welding.
Cyndee graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.S. in Physiology. After SMU, she attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, and graduated with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. Cyndee has practiced dental hygiene for 33 years, 9 of them with Dr. Shults. She has been married 26 years, and has 2 children at Texas A&M. She loves to spend her time deep sea fishing with her husband, and taking long walks on the beach with their 3 dogs.
Priscilla Zuniga, Insurance & BillingQueen of collections (and also decorations), Priscilla is constantly adding color to the office with her glittering personality. If she's not at her desk submitting insurance claims, you might find her at her son's football games, or at the basketball court where she watches her daughter play and sometimes even gets out there to take some shots herself.
