Our office distinguishably appears on the City of Salem Registry for Historically Significant Buildings. Moved to its present location in 1990, it is a 1920-era colonial revival house that has since been completely renovated and restored. The result is a state-of-the-art environment that uniquely blends classic architectural style with today's advanced technology.
An environmentally conscious practice, we follow Oregon Dental Association Best Management Practices and are working toward becoming a paperless office. We also offer digital radiography services that eliminate processing chemicals and film waste. Even our web server is green, operating on 100% clean wind-generated power.
Dr. Boehne provides comprehensive care in general dentistry, teeth whitening and dental implants. He started his practice in Salem, Oregon, over 25 years ago, after graduating from Willamette University and Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry. He is active with professional volunteer efforts throughout the community and state, and has even represented organized dentistry on a national level.
Dr. Boehne has taught and mentored students in the dental health field. With a firm belief in lifelong learning, he achieved the Academy of General Dentistry Mastership Award in San Diego in 2011. This achievement represents the highest award for continuing education presented by the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2012 Dr. Boehne was inducted as a Fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honorary organization. Dr. Boehne is also a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Marion and Polk County Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Orthodontic Association, and American Academy of Dental Anesthesiology. He has served on the Board of the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry and the Oregon Dental Association. He currently serves as an Advisor to the Salem Boys & Girls Club Dental Health Clinic.
Outside of the office, Dr. Boehne participates in various outdoor recreational activities and lives with his wife, Corliss. Together, they contentedly share their home with two very energetic Siberian Huskies, Alex and Kissie-Sue.

I am new to Salem and Dr. Boehne's office was recommended to me by a local friend. The office is in a beautiful, well decorated, historical home and I felt very comfortable. Corliss and Sydney were warm and helpful, Tiffany was a gentle and thorough hygienist, and Dr. Boehne was personable and took the time to answer any questions. I had a wonderful experience as a new patient and I will recommend them to everyone!

Due to insurance changes we had to leave Dr Boehne's office after being under their care for years. My husband and I have often brought up how much we miss it. Corallis is one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met. We always have such nice visits. The staff is all so kind and helpful. Sheena, the dental hygienist, made me feel so calm and did such gentle work... and my teeth always felt so squeaky clean afterwards. Dr. Boehne is so kind and personable and I always felt like he was honest in terms of when dental work actually needed to be done. Overall, I cannot imagine getting better care anywhere else. Here's to hoping we can get a compatible insurance plan next year and return.

I hadn't gone to the dentist regularly in almost a decade so this was a huge step for me. The procedure was amazingly smooth and I didn't feel a thing. The staff and Dr are extremely professional, and I am actually excited to go back.

Dr. Boehne has been my dentist since I was a child and now my he is my children's dentist as well. Exceptional quality work, caring and compassionate staff, I've never been dissatisfied and my children love to go to the dentist as well! You're all the best!
