I was referred to Dr. Umeda by a close friend whose judgment I trust implicitly. I was delighted to find Dr. Umeda"s approach in treating my dental issues was as unique and comprehensive as my "Uncle" described it to be. I eagerly look forward to the successful completion of my procedure.

Had a toothache and Shirley up front was such a sweetheart, making sure she got me an appointment ASAP and working around my work schedule. Their new patient paperwork is available to be filled out ahead of time online which I really like because it's great to get that all out of the way and not have it take up your time with the dentist. And on that note, Dr. Umeda was absolutely superb. Iris who took my X-rays was so patient, sweet and caring. From my X-rays, Dr. Umeda found the culprit of my toothache--a wisdom tooth. Just to make sure I don't run away and never have the courage to come back (which did cross my mind), they offered to take it out for me right then and there while I'm already in the chair. I knew that if I didn't get it done right then, I'm going to put it off again and probably prolong my own pain unnecessarily. Dr. Umeda and Iris were so patient and encouraging during the anesthesia. Despite all my worries, the shot didn't even hurt. And he gave me more than one! I'm so grateful for their care and will be returning to get my other wisdom tooth out. Thank you, Dr. Umeda, Iris and Shirley!

As always, wonderful care & service from Dr Gary and team. Education is the focus of all the cleanings and Dr Gary makes sure you have every option for preventative maintenance and less-invasive treatments. And every time I go, the office has updated their procedures to incorporate the very latest techniques and technology. And certainly, I feel they've been very covid-safe. The kind, cheerful team is as adorable as ever.

Dr. Umeda, Shirley and Iris are a 5 star team. I always leave feeling like my dental health is there number 1 priority. I can't say that about any other health professionals I have ever known. Excellent, excellent dental service!!

Dr. Gary and his staff are the most caring and comprehensive in their services I could ever imagine. Sitting in the dental chair reading their mission statement is awesome however am so grateful to receive that heartfelt care and excellent treatment at every visit that so benefits my teeth and overall health. It was great meeting him. I had emergency situation last day of hawaii. He responded me quick, and opened the office for me on Sunday. Dr. Umeda is very kind and very very professional. He explains me options, details.. (but, i was still in shocked and hard to make decision tho.). But I was very appreciated and I highly recommend his office.

Dr. Umeda fit us in as a consult during his lunch hour. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and actually spent 2 hours of his time with us! He's very personable and wants to truly help in remedying a person's situation!

Dr. Umeda is the best. He really cares about your teeth and thinks of the longterm effect of your teeth. Minimal treatment is the best treatment! I went to another dentist for a year and ended up getting multiple teeth operations which did not need to happen. Some dentists are in it for the money! Now that I'm back with Dr. Umeda, I am a very satisfied customer. The only downside is that his services are mostly not covered by insurance, but that's the premium you pay for getting the best service. Pay more for better preventative care, or pay physically more for unnecessary oral treatments? I'd rather have healthier teeth in the long run!

My visit was for consultation of a loose tooth that came out while sleeping. He determined that nothing needs to be done. I agreed with his wise assessment because I am able to chew my food adequately. I am 87 years old.
