Dr. Gary S. Barker graduated Magna Cum Laude at Brandeis University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in chemistry and economics. Dr. Barker earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Connecticut Dental School. He continued his post-doctoral education in a highly competitive general practice residency program at the University of Maryland Hospital. During his residency training, he focused on all of the dental specialties. Dr. Gary S. Barker is the recipient of numerous academic awards, honors and achievements and is exemplified by the numerous continuing education courses he takes throughout the year in various topics of general and cosmetic dentistry. He maintains his memberships in the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry and in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Gary S. Barker resides in Baltimore, Maryland, with his wife, Ellen, and their service dog, Bleu. In their spare time, they enjoy relaxing on the beach, trying new restaurants and being with their three children.
We take pride in the professionalism, reliability, and friendly atmosphere we provide to our patients. Any and all procedures are explained thoroughly in order to provide our patients with a full understanding of the needed treatment. Our mission is to create beautiful smiles, along with healthy teeth and gums.
Lauren has several years of experience in the dental field and has been a part of our intimate family practice since 2018. She has her dental assistant certificate and dental radiology license. Lauren is very friendly and enjoys making patients feel comfortable throughout their dental visits. Lauren enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her young daughter, Aubrey.

There are not enough superlatives in the English language to fully express how outstanding Dr. Barker and his staff are. I have a phobia concerning dentists that requires extreme care and empathy, and Dr. Barker could not have been more caring and understanding. I was at ease during my entire procedure and I'm still in awe of his expertise. He is the BEST.

Dr. Barker is the Best Dentist by far ! He is very thoughtful and through in performing any type of dental work I have required. From root canals to implants he insures they will be trouble free upon completion. I am extremely glad to be a patient of his.

Dr Barker and his staff were warm and welcoming as I brought my newborn for both a lip and tongue tie repair. They were able to get me an appointment quickly, and provided comprehensive care from the moment I called them. Dr Barker personally called later the day of the procedure to check in on me and my daughter, and to ensure all was going well.

Dr. Barker and his staff are always professional and nice. Ellen is the best dental hygienist hands down. And getting to see and have pets with Bleu the certified therapy dog is always the highlight of my visit. I continue to go to Dr. Barkers practice and will continue to go. I have referred several friends to his practice and will continue to do so as they are the best in Pasadena.

This was my son's first visit. He is 16 and suffers high anxiety other issues. Dr Barker was amazing with him. He gave him a great checkup, advice and also gave me great advice dealing with this situation. Too notch Dentist. The entire staff was fantastic with us. Tk you all. It meant a lot to me.

I just started seeing Dr Baker and very afraid of Dentists.. I had a procedure done today and was very scared.. he was so nice and patient and took his time with me. His staff is so nice and very friendly.. it's so comfortable at this office. I wish I would have been seeing Dr Baker way earlier.. I'm going to recommend him.. he's really the Best.. I've found my dentist for Life..

I've been a patient of this practice for a couple of years. Dr. Barker, Lauren, and Natalie (those with whom I've directly worked) provide an outstanding dental experience. Their skill, kindness, and patience are uncommon. Highly recommended! In subsequent visits, including the most recent, my original impressions are consistently confirmed. My niece has been going to Dr Barker for years and years and highly recommended him and from the moment I walked in I was completely comfortable. The staff was great and when I met the doctor I was completely At ease. I have always been very nervous going to the dentist so this was a pleasant appointment He was kind and gentle and I am thrilled to have found such a competent dentist. I do have some work to be done but I have all the confidence in Dr Barker.

I just got a root canal from Dr.Brett. I was a little nervous because I hate dental work, but he did a really good job. He made sure I was nice and numb without the medicine taking over my entire face. My mouth is really small but be still made good time. He did a good job but I still hope I never need another one.
