Dr. Lipow graduated from The Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry in 1984. She completed her General Practice Residency education at Stony Brook University Hospital in 1985. After completing her residency, she was appointed a Clinical Assistant Professor where she supervised the dental residents.In 2003 she was appointed a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, and is currently a Clinic Director where she supervises all aspects of patient care.She also teaches several courses, participates in numerous committees, and is a trusted lecturer to her colleagues and dental students.
Cheryl has been our dental hygienist for over twenty-five years and is considered by all extremely professional, caring, friendly and dedicated to her patient's needs. She is so proficient, skilled and dedicated to providing optimal care to our patients, that Dr. Sandler and Dr. Lipow are always telling her that she is talented enough to be a dentist herself. Over the course of her career, Cheryl has built countless trusting and long-lasting relationships with her patients.
Ana was a practicing dentist in her home country of El Salvador and would like one day to be a licensed dentist here in the United States. She always has a smile on her face, is extremely qualified, compassionate and highly professional. She is proud to be given the opportunity to assist Dr. Sandler and Dr. Lipow provide quality dental care and patient comfort using the latest techniques that modern dentistry offers.
Our office is continually reviewing and updating the latest methods and dental technology to ensure that we provide our patients with the best dentistry. Our entire staff joins us in treating all our patients as family. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and highly proficient in their professional duties. We are always there to try to exceed your expectations. DDS Lipow, DDS Sandler and Cheryl really are masters of their craft. I've been seeing their dentistry practice for a year now. From cleanings to fillings to root canals, they do it all very well. The best part is how comfortable they make you feel before, during and after the visit. They even call me days after my appointment to make sure that their work was done correctly and that the bite is accurate and pain is gone. They always work hard to work with your schedule and insurance. Thank you Lipow, Sandler and Cheryl.

Went once for a first visit. Exam and follow up for some work on chips. Initial visit wasn't anything special and the person who checked out my teeth and gave X-rays was not very pleasant. Second visit I waited over 45 minutes to be called in to the. Wait in the chair for 20. They had no idea why I was there and wanted to fill cavities that magically showed up. They spend 15-20 minutes trying to figure out what I am there for. I'm being very patient the entire time and I didn't say a word about the wait, which they apologized for. The end result was I had been there for so long I was making them even later for the next patient so I excused myself and left. Then the front desk person has me there for over 10 minutes trying to figure out when they can put me in and I kept trying to excuse myself, which she wasn't having any of that. Obviously I didn't go back and that was many months ago. Figured it was a honest goof but today they had a server give my wife papers for a 380 bill. They have not sent a bill for my wife.. So be aware that they care very little for their patients when it comes to their time and really care about their money only. That was the impression I received the two times I had to deal with the front desk and now that instead of doing their billing work that just refer it to a lawyer and serve you plus a 45 dollar processing fee. My wife almost died this year, they have no morals.

I've been a patient here for 23 years. Drs. Sandler and Lipow always do a great job, give sound dental advice and perform great work. My wife and two kids also come here. Cheryl, the hygienist, is as pain free as they come. Courteous and friendly office staff - the list goes on and on. Also, I hate Novocain and getting numbed up. Dr. Sandler is able to do most of my dental work without it, by my request, and without sending me through the ceiling in pain. You can't go wrong coming here.

Dr. Gary Sandler and his Dental Hygienist Cheryl have been taking exceptional care of my teeth for over 25 years. The bonding work that was performed on my teeth over two decades ago still looks so good to this day that you would never know I ever had it done. And the yearly cleanings and examinations have kept my teeth and gums very healthy. I highly recommend Dr. Sandler for all of your oral care.

We have been patients of Dr. Sandler for 42 years. I could not imagine visiting any other dentist or have as much confidence in any one else as we do with him and this office. From a simple cleaning to root canal, crowns and more.....he does it all. I don't mean to sound ridiculous but we dread the thought of him ever retiring. He's simple the best, pain free caring dentist you'll find. Can't say more.................

After many years fearing dentists and costs I was introduced to Doctor Lipow. Other dentists quotes of close to twenty thousand dollars, numerous route canals and other nightmares, I stopped going to dentists, until now. Dr Lipow has worked miracles In saving my teeth and pocket. She has an incredible touch. Treatment is painless. As a result I go to the dentist regularly and my mouth has greatly improved. Thank you Dr Lipow for restoring my mouth.
