We are proud to provide a state-of-the-art facility for the highest quality dental care available. It is one of our top priorities to protect the well-being of our valued patients. For this reason, our office meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards. We are confident that you will feel right at home in our office as we welcome all patients as if they were family.

We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.

On behalf of my entire dental team, and myself, we welcome you to our dental practice. I and our engaging team, love what we do and take pride in our personal approach to dentistry. While our services and techniques are very modern, our office and personalities are both welcoming and nurturing. When you walk into our office, we want you to feel comfortable and secure, and we strive to meet our own high standards of healthy and positive oral health care. I have spent my career working and training to build a practice that exceeds your expectations of trusted personalized dentistry.

I graduated from Loyola University of Chicago Dental School and am proud to have also taught at Loyola University of Chicago Dental School. I opened my dental practice in Northbrook over 25 years ago. My staff and I attend numerous continuing education courses, and my experience in teaching my craft allows me to support other dentists as well as ensuring my continuous refinement and expansion of my own mastery. I am proud to be affiliated with The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Seattle Study Club, The American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, The Chicago Dental Society, The Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, and Global Whos Who.

I am married to my beautiful wife Cathie and we have four wonderful and accomplished children: Julia, who attends the University of Illinois, magna cum laude, who studied abroad in Kenya for a year devoting her career to womens and childrens health issues; David, who also attends the University of Illinois Business School, majoring in accounting. David is very athletic and takes part in the triathlon club; Mark, who attends Illinois State University and hasnt declared his major as yet but is thriving in the excellent teaching environment that Illinois State provides. Mark is a member of Delta Chi fraternity. He is also very athletic and has other diverse interests; and Joesph, who attends Glenbrook North High School and is a strong academic student He has been on the wrestling, Lacrosse and cross country teams. We have 2 dogs Simba and Sirrius. My family and I love to travel to satisfy our love for new experiences and cultures. My other passions are athletics, painting, woodworking, and gardening.

A funny thing happened to me during law school. A friend of my parents (who just happened to be a dentist) told them that he had lost his assistant and did they think I would be interested in helping him part-time until he retired he was only 89 years old. My parents immediately said YES and my mission was to persuade him to retire as soon as possible. The joke was on me (and them)as much as I love politics and the underdog, dentistry became my first love.

I learned dentistry from an old-fashioned dentist who believed that only he could do the best job. Thus I not only learned dental assisting but also how to make dentures and crowns lab techniques, doing the front office work and cleaning the office which Im glad to say I quickly eliminated from my duties. It was a unique learning environment. My part-time job quickly became a juggling act between law school, his office and archaeological digs. My progression in dentistry had been richly rewardingfrom assisting and lab work to office manager, to teaching dental assisting, to dental and medical consulting, to practice administrator. I have been very fortunate that I can utilize my education and experiences in a profession I absolutely love.

I have had the privilege to work with some of the best dental clinicians in the country. My good fortune was with me when I joined Dr Alberts office. Our beliefs melded perfectlystrong beliefs in continuing education (on all subjects not just dentistry), a strong commitment to faith-based values, a moral conviction that everyone matters and the integrity to admit not only our contributions but also our shortcomings. Dr Alberts surrounds himself with people that compliment his style and ability. He creates an environment that allows his office staff to reach for the stars. I am very fortunate indeed.

I am entering my 43rd year in dentistry, 40 of which I have been a Certified Dental Assistant. I am also Board Certified in Dental Radiology, as well as have certifications in Coronal Polishing and Sealants. I am as enthusiastic and passionate about dentistry today as when I first started at 16 as a dental technician. I have over 9 years experience as a pediatric speciality assistant. I have been with this wonderful office for over 10 years and I hope to finish out my career with Dr Alberts. He is one of the finest dentists I have ever known and his dedication to his patients and to providing the highest quality dentistry are just two of the many qualities I admire in him.

My other passion in life is animal rescue of which I have been doing for over 22 years. My main breed of rescue is hounds. One of the hardest, but most rewarding things I have ever done is Hurricane Katrina Rescue. I spent 10 days in Mississippi after the hurricane volunteering at the local pound. I am proud to say that my 4 person rescue group was able to relocate and rehome over 1100 dogs, cats and various farm animals out of the hurricane ravaged areas up north to non-kill rescue groups and into their fur ever homes. I have several forever fosters, all hounds, which are a hughe part of my heart. Oh, by the way, did I mention I have 3 amazing kids, 2 wonderful son-in-laws and a daughter-in-law. I have twogranddaughters and two grandsons. And last but not least, a fabulous husband Mark.

I share Dr. Alberts philosophy of providing the exceptional care and service to our patients. I would like for patients to be educated, cared for, and relaxed when they come for dental visits. I take pride in my knowledge and experience, and always try to grow, improve and educate myself in the new developments in dentistry. Im very happy to be a part of this talented and caring team.

I was born and raised in Belarus and Ive been living in the United States since 1991. I am married and have 2 children, 2 adorable cats, Mimi and Luluand the cutest dog, Toby. My family is great and I enjoy spending my free time with them and my friends.

Thank you to Dr. Alberts, his helpful staff and friendly patients for welcoming me to this practice. I have lived in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago my whole life. After attending high school in Northfield, where my mother was a teacher for 10 years, I then attended Loyola University and graduated in 1984. Since then I have had the wonderful opportunity to care for many wonderful patients in both periodontal specialty and family practices.

After being with this office for 2 1/2 years, I was offered the opportunity to join the office staff full time and gladly accepted. The only one not happy with my now full-time schedule is my 85-pound lap dog, Willow. She is a 2-year-old American Stafford Terrier, and is my fur baby. Willow is always happy to see me when I get home, especially when I have a special treat from Suzi for her before her walk.

It has been my pleasure meeting more of our lovely patients and getting to know their families! I enjoy meeting new people and look forward to meeting you and helping with your dental needs or concerns.

I have been in the dental field since 1991. I pursued my goal to become a dental hygienist, graduating from Northwestern University. I enjoy being a hygienist because I get to help my patients stay healthy and feel good about themselves. I love having the opportunity to work with my patients on improving their oral health and educating them on how important oral health is to their overall health. Getting to know my patients and their families is very important to me. My goal is to buildlong-term personal relationships with my patients for years so I can best serve them and provide the very best treatment.

I love dental hygiene.I really do (Doctors, staff and especially the patients), Not many people can say they love their job. Im a newlywed. My husband, Emilian and I are just enjoying life. We love to attend all sporting events. We enjoy biking, tennis, dancing, traveling, skiing and trying new adventures (zip lining and scuba lessons). Im looking forward to many years practicing hygiene and what life has to offer.

Not a good experience with Dr Gary Alberts. The good: He accommodated my need for a quick appointment. I discussed in detail via phone (Suzie) the issue that I was having. (A very small piece of a tooth had broken off, simple polishing would of fixed the issue right up) The bad: 1) Upon arriving to the office I was immediately taken to a room by one of the assistants, pictures were taken. I was told these are necessary, because I am a new patient & they were needed for insurance purposes. I was also told that they are simple digital pictures (not harmful). Xrays are xrays, digital or not, because I was a new patient, the Dr should of met me first & evaluated prior to anything being done. 2) The doctor came in & after looking at the tooth in question, could not figure out if I had a veneer, filling or something else Furthermore, he asked if I had been treated outside this country & was amazed that my answer was local. In addition, from the things that were said, I got the feeling that he did not hold immigrants from eastern Europe in high regard, doctors or patients. 3) The office was filthy & messy. From the waiting room to the examination/treatment rooms. Everything was old, stained & not clean. This place was not a germ free environment one would expect. Outcome: (10 min after meeting me) Determined that he was not comfortable treating me. Told me that I need full mouth reconstruction, not something that he was ready to take on. My experience summary: Wasted 2 hours of my life. Exposed me to unwanted radiation. No actual work performed. Billed my insurance any way. I do not recommend this doctor.
