Dr. Wayne Gary is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, and has been practicing dentistry in New Iberia since 1999. He graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 1996. Dr. Gary then completed two years of postdoctoral training at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans in 1998, learning advanced techniques in dentistry, sedation, and surgical techniques dealing with medically compromised patients. He serves as an adjunct professor for LSU School of Dentistry. He is a past president of the Acadiana District Dental Association, the local branch of the American Dental Association, and served on several committees at the local and state level. Dr. Gary is committed to excellence and spends numerous hours attending continuing education in cosmetic and sedation techniques to make his patients feel relaxed and comfortable during treatment. Community involvement is important to Dr. Gary, and he donates his time to several charitable organizations and is a past president of Cajun Kiwanis in New Iberia. He enjoys golfing and traveling with his wife Ellen Russo Gary and their four children Caroline, Elizabeth, Olivia, and William.
Member: American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, Acadiana District Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.

Let me tell y'all how today went for me, I had gotten a cavity filled way back when I was about 6 years old and the filling from it broke a few months ago and essentially left me with a hole in my tooth Sunday was probably the worst pain I had ever felt I ended up at urgent care and that still didn't help much. Every doctors office I tried calling didn't have availability until DECEMBER !!! Finally Gary Family Dental came to my rescue I called at 8am when they opened expecting to have to wait a few weeks for an appointment and I got in @10:30am !!!! Not only did I get the appointment I had gotten my root canal done as well THE.SAME.DAY. I had. Bad experience with a dentist as a child and I have struggled going for years and they gave completely changed my mindset. They were so comforting, welcoming, understanding and professional all in one. I was able to return to work after only to start going thru pain again not only did doctor Gary ask me to come back in they actual stayed extra time after closing so that I didn't have to spend the night in pain. forever grateful

Although this was not my scheduled appointment, I have no difficulty seeing Dr. Gary. As always, the ladies are professional and quite friendly. When you enter the office, you are greeted.. every person was greeted by his/her name. Yes, I was paying close attention!! Dr. Gary was thorough in his examination and explanation!! Will I continue to be a patient there? My next appointment is in November!! Thanks Dr. Wayne Gray and staff!

I live in Lafayette and do not mind driving to New Iberia to go to Dr. Joey Gary's dental office. The receptionists are so kind and friendly! The dental hygienist is excellent and makes you feel so relaxed and comfortable while she is cleaning your teeth. Dr. Gary is so professional and is an excellent dentist. Lastly, his assistants are well trained, proficient, and make you feel you can trust their competency. I will continue to drive from Lafayette for my regular dental care!
