A native of California, Dr. Stafford has been serving Pleasanton and the surrounding communities since 1997. He attended college at UC Berkeley, where he graduated in 1983 (Go Bears!). He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1987. Dr. Stafford completed his specialty residency in Orthodontics at UCLA in 1995. He is an orthodontist, and as such, limits his practice to orthodontic treatment for kids and adults of all ages.
His memberships within the orthodontic community provide him with many opportunities for continuing education, which he participates in regularly to offer his patients the most advanced orthodontic treatment options.

I am a Registered Dental Assistant and have been assisting Dr. Stafford with all chairside duties since 1997. Dr. Stafford has always been very patient and caring and our team works well together. They are like my second family! In orthodontics technology and techniques are always changing and I love that we are always learning and growing as a team. My favorite thing about orthodontics is watching a patient's face light up when they see their new smile for the first time. It's amazing to see how a beautiful smile can transform a person inside and out!
I was born and raised in California and have had the pleasure of living in the Bay Area, Foothills,and Central Valley. I now reside with my two sons, my boyfriend, his daughter, and our dog Carlos in a small beach town. I enjoy watching the kids play sports, hiking, running, camping, learning to surf, and lounging on the beach!
I am happy to have joined Dr. Staffords orthodontic team in 2016. I love orthodontics and I enjoy being a part of a team that works so well together to provide excellent patient care. I have worked in orthodontics for 27 years and it NEVER gets old! I love getting to know the patients and assisting them through their process to a beautiful new smile. Its always bittersweet when a patient gets their braces off. We are glad theyve finished and their smile looks amazing, but it means well see them less often.
Its a great feeling to help people get the healthy and beautiful smile they desire. The best parts of my job are meeting new people, building relationships with them, and seeing their happy smiles the day their braces come off. I work at our front desk and will greet you when you come in for your visits. Im always glad to hear the latest news about your family, school or work, and plans.
I was born and raised right here in the East Bay. My husband and I have three sons and a German Shepherd named Greta. All three of my boys have had orthodontic treatment by Dr. Stafford. As young adults they now have beautifully straight teeth and great smiles!

I was born and raised in the Bay Area & currently reside in San Ramon with my bearded dragon, Bernie. I love animals and you can find me working weekends at a veterinary hospital. In my spare time I enjoy going to the beach, attending concerts & baking.
