Dr. Gary Berman graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1981. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a fellow of the International College of Dentists, and a PostDDS fellow. He is a member of the ADA, State and local dental societies. He was named Michigan Dental Citizen of the Year in 2002 by the Michigan Dental Association and Dentist Citizen of the Year in 2006 by the Detroit District Dental Association. Dr. Berman is board certified in Forensic Dentistry and was part of the initially responding disaster team (DMORT) to both the World Trade Center and Hurricane Katrina disaster.He has also taught courses throughout the United States including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina, Nebraska, Missouri, Colorado and Florida. He is a past president of the American Society of Forensic Odontology, a past president of the American Board of Forensic Odontology, a past Chair of the Odontology Section of the American Academy of Forensic Science and is the morgue operations chief for the state of Michigan's MiMORT disaster team. Dr. Berman has also co-authored text book chapters on Dental Identification and Disaster Victim Identification. Dr. Berman works in the Belleville location.
Dr. Kenneth Fox is a 1974 graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. He is a PostDDS fellow. He is a member of the ADA, State and local dental societies, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Foxbelieves a healthy mouth and a shining smile are signs of a successful visit tohis dental office. Dr. Fox regularly takes continuing education classes so he can provide the best care for his patients and offer them the latest advances in dental treatment. Dr. Fox works in the Westland location.
Dr. Kyle DiRenzo grew up in Loudoun County, Virginia. He graduated from University of Michigan with a B.S.E. degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2013. He completed his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018. He recently finished his General Practice Residency at the University of Michigan. During his studies Dr. DiRenzo participated in several research projects, including the effects of lidocaine and articaine on neuronal cells. He resides in Ann Arbor with his wife, two daughters and dog. His interests include hiking, camping, and basketball.Dr. DiRenzo works in both the Westland and the Belleville locations.

I have been going to Dr. Berman since Dr. Kane retired and he took over. He is one of the best! He, along with his team are compassionate and patient. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

I have been goin to this office since I was a child! Dr Berman is the greatest. The staff are always helpful and accommodating. I have had plenty of work done and never had any issues!

Dr. Berman and his staff are amazing. We have been going there for 20 years. We moved and hour away and tried a new dentist. We came immediately back and are happy to make that drive because we know that he always has my family, and their best interests, in mind when making decisions regarding our dental health. I have recommended several people to Dr. Berman and all have agreed that he is the best dentist in town!! If you are looking for a professional, a kid friendly place, a people person, someone who understands anxiety, a dentist who only does the work that is needed, and a skilled dentist- you've found it!

Great dentist always friendly never suggest procdures not needed unless u ask. Works around insurances even when they won't pay I highly recommend him n the hygienist..He always makes u feel comfortable n never hurts me. I'm a baby when it comes to dental pain. He is super.

Dr. Berman is great but it's not worth dealing with the staff! These people, atleast the ones i talked to were not at all helpful and were rude and act as if your wasting their time. When your in pain they couldn't care less and with the prices they charge, patients deserve more respect! There are plenty of capable dentists who DO TREAT people with respect AND compassion.

Dr. Berman is great but it's not worth dealing with the staff! These people, atleast the ones i talked to were not at all helpful and were rude and act as if your wasting their time. When your in pain they couldn't care less and with the prices they charge, patients deserve more respect! There are plenty of capable dentists who DO TREAT people with respect AND compassion.

Dr. Berman is a great dentist! I have been going to him for years. His office staff is absolutely the worst. Verified my appointment time to arrive 15 minutes early to be told my appointment was at a different time then what they had verified. Was then told I would have to wait the three our difference to see if there was even a chance the Dr could help me. I have no insurance, so apparently that means I want to be treated like trash and talked to like a toddler. The front staffer just kept repeating the price of a cap (about $100 more than every other office I called after I stormed out of there) like I don't know how money works. Clearly I know it isn't free. I prepared for that. Will never go back, even though I have been a patient since baby teeth.

I used to go to this office years ago and I always loved the service provided by Dr. Berman and the other doctors working in the office. However, I just switched insurance. This is an insurance that Dr. Berman's office accepts, but this office does discriminate against whether or not you purchased the insurance through the Marketplace or through your employer. This is obviously a decision based on the current political climate of the Marketplace, but a consumer should be aware of this when deciding their insurance and their doctor. Overall, great service, but will not accept the insurance policy IF it's through the Marketplace.
