I receive my B.A. From Indiana University, Bloomington and earned my dental degree from The University of Iowa. As part of my dental training, I pursued research in the field of dental materials. Upon graduation, I completed a general practice residency prior to entering private practice in 1992.
I believe that dentistry is a life-long learning process. In order to provide the best possible care to my patients I attend hundreds of hours of continuing education. Since dentistry is constantly advancing, I value the need to remain current with technology, materials, and techniques.
Most importantly I believe treating our patients with a caring comprehensive approach requires time. I enjoy the practice of dentistry because I enjoy the technical science of working with my hands, but I also appreciate getting to know the many interesting people I meet and listening to their concerns. In my opinion, only then can the patient-doctor relationship proceed to serve their needs.
