Dr. Garrick O. McAnear grew up in Poteau, OK. He earned his Associates Degree from Carl Albert State College in Poteau. Following graduation, he continued his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. He obtained his Bachelor of Biology Degree from UCO in 1998. He was accepted into the Universityof Oklahoma College of Dentistry in the fall of 1998 and spent the next four years working on his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). In 2002, he graduated from OUCOD and began practicing dentistry for a group practice in Oklahoma City.
A year and a half later he opened the doors of his own private practice in a small retail space on Hefner Road and didnt look back once. He served his patients there for over 14 years. With a staff of 9 and growing out of space quickly, it was time to build. So in the Spring of 2017, he moved into his new facility to continue providing a great dental experience and to accommodate his growing population of patients and his growing staff of 12. He resides in northwest Oklahoma City with his wonderful wife, Heather since 1999, and their two daughters, Madison and Lynnley and their son Bo. Garrick is passionate about the field of dentistry and taking great care of his patients.I love working with people and so many families. I want to see my patients smile. I want to give themthe best care possible. That gives me great satisfaction.
Regan is our front office manager. She keeps the office running smoothly. She is extremely knowledgeable about office policies and insurance plans. She spends her day helping our patients minimze their out of pocket expenses and goes to bat for our patients to get the most benefit from their plan.
Kristenis our Hygiene coordinator. Her time is devoted to helping our patients stay on their oral healthcare cleaning schedules so their teeth and gums stay as healthy as possible. She works to find times in our day for our Hygienists to take care our patients cleaning needs and assists them on finding future availability in our schedule for them.
Lianne is in charge of Patient Relations at Cedar Creek Dental Associates. She does a fantastic job of communicating with insurance companies about benefits for our patients. She spends her time answering patients insurance questions and verifying our patients insurance to help determine the coverage for each procedure.
Allieis our Insurance Eligibility Coordinator. She works hard behind the scenes to get an accurate estimate of our patients insurance plans and what benefits they cover and what they dont cover so our patients know their costs before they see the hygienistor Dr. McAnear.
Our dental assistants are amazing and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable in the dental chair. They work hard taking X-rays or digital scans as well as making temporary crowns. They are fantastic at delivering great chairside assistance to both you and Dr McAnear.
