As a Christian, Dr. Taylors faith directs everything he does: in family, community, and career. He feels humbled to have been given the opportunity to use the gift of dentistry to help others in need, locally and internationally.

His gentle, personalized approach, and attention to detail, allows Dr. Taylor to alleviate pain and infection, improve oral and systemic health, and give each patient a confident smile. He particularly enjoys taking a patient through each step on the journey to establishing optimal dental health, and earning the persons trust in order to serve throughout their life.

Dr. Taylor graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2007, where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Prior to dental school, he completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Central Arkansas and an Associate of Arts degree from Central Baptist College.

In addition to his private practice in Pine Bluff, Dr. Taylor is a member of the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners. He serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, too.

A dedicated life-long learner, Dr. Taylor completes numerous continuing education (CE) courses each year. This education means better treatment options and procedures, ensuring better care for the community.

Dr. Taylor is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Arkansas State Dental Association. These organizations provide CE through meetings, lectures, seminars, and webinars, as well as refereed journals and other periodicals.

Dr. Taylor and his wife, Caron,a dental hygienist at the practice, have a beloved daughter, Addison, along with Doberman Pinschers. The family is very active in their church, Watson Chapel Baptist Church, where Dr. Taylor is an ordained Deacon and Sunday School teacher.

He is also involved in Hope of the Delta Pregnancy Center and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Baptist Collegiate Ministry (UAPB BCM). Additionally, Dr. Taylor regularly participates in international mission trips with his family and through their church.

She is passionate about serving the people of southeast Arkansas: whether she is getting someone out of pain or giving another person a new smile, Dr. Carter finds every day and each interaction to be rewarding. She loves the variety of people she comes into contact with, and thrives on the relationships that develop as a result of those interactions.

Dr. Carter possesses a gentle, patient, and kind manner, and is an attentive listener. She works closely with each patient to determine their dental needs and desires, then designs treatment to address their clinical and personal situation. This ensures patients receive the highest-quality care and healthy, radiant results.

For Dr. Carter, her profession is about providing others with dental care they can smile about, while building a trusting rapport and sharing in their lives. It is the most rewarding job she can imagine, and she feels blessed to get to do dentistry every day.

Dr. Carter graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in May 2019; the next month she joined Dr. Taylors office. She is pleased to be part of a practice that treats patients like family and gives them the best quality dental experience possible.

Prior to dental school, Dr. Carter attended Ouachita Baptist University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. It was while she was in college that she decided to become a dentist. She had a professor who said, If you want to help people, become a dentist. Those words stayed with her and ultimately fueled her desire to go into the dental field she loves the service aspect of dentistry.

Each year, Dr. Carter completes many hours of continuing education, seeking to expand her knowledge, enhance her skills, and stay at the forefront of the newest advancements. She wants to provide each patient with the ideal treatment, for predictable, healthy results.

As an active member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Carter has access to local, regional, and national meetings, seminars, and lectures. She also participates in online courses and reads the latest journals to stay current on emerging research and practice trends.

In her free time, Dr. Carter enjoys getting outside with Tyler and their dogs, as well as activities with First Baptist Church of Star City. She also loves to run, cook, and find any excuse to go shopping.

Brooke has been with us since 2015 and has an Associates of Applied Science from Pulaski Technical College. She has also earned nitrous oxide monitoring, coronal polishing, and X-ray credentials. Brookes warm and upbeat manner helps nervous patients feel reassured during treatments, as she works chairside assisting the doctor. She offers patient care, provides infection control, and loves helping deliver high-quality dental care to our region.

Caron has been part of our team since 2008. She is a 1999 graduate of Brinkley High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Arkansas, where she earned her Bachelor of Interior Design degree. In 2014, Caron earned her license to practice dental hygiene. With her gentle warmth and kind manner, Caron helps patients feel comfortable in her chair. She cleans teeth, provides preventive care, and offers useful, non-judgmental home oral hygiene guidance and encouragement.

Kim has worked in the dental field since 1990. She has a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and joined our office in 2011. She appreciates the relationships she has developed with our patients and enjoys strengthening those bonds during hygiene visits. In addition to dental cleanings and preventive care, Kim teaches patients about dental health and hygiene. Healthy, happy smiles keep her motivated.

Natalie has been part of our practice since 2011, having started in the field in 2006. She has nitrous oxide monitoring, coronal polishing, and X-ray privileges. Natalie likes giving our patients a good experience at every visit and enjoys the many friends shes made through the office. Working chairside, Natalie assists the doctors, supports patients, and handles infection control tasks. Her kindness keeps patients at ease, knowing they are in caring hands.

Vicky joined our office in 2020, bringing with her 20 years of experience in all front office duties. She is thrilled to be part of a caring, growing practice and enjoys each member of our patient family. Vicky oversees our hygiene program and scheduling. She is also our insurance benefits coordinator, making sure patients are able to maximize their coverage, and handles revenue and billing matters.

Jamie started in the dental field in 1996, when she completed her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She joined us in 2007 and values the connections shes made with our patients over the years. Offering preventive care, including gentle cleanings, Jamie focuses on lots of patient education to help people take control of their oral health. Seeing a clean smile at a recall visit makes her day.

From White Hall, Jamie spends much of her time with her husband Brent and two sons, Austin and Carsen. The family enjoys traveling, snow skiing, water sports, and many activities with Watson Chapel Baptist Church.
