A lifetime of good oral health begins with early dental care. Dr. Matthew Jenne and our office team will work with children to develop good oral hygiene habits and to educate them on the benefits of a healthy smile. We provide dental sealants, sports mouthguards, and dental care for the needs of a growing smile in the comfort of our Garner dentist office. Children often enjoy being able to be seen by the same dentist their parent visits, and this provides the opportunity for parents to reinforce the development of good oral habits.

Good oral health supports your best possible quality of life in many ways and also allows you to smile with confidence. When you visit us, your comfort is a top priority. We want our patients to enjoy their patient experience when visiting with us, and we make every effort to address any concerns you may have.
Dr. Jenne grew up in Northern New Jersey and was inspired to pursue dentistry by his father, Donald, who practiced general dentistry for over 35 years. Dr. Jenne received his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Stockton University in Galloway, New Jersey. While at Stockton University, he competed on the Universitys soccer team as a NCAA student athlete. Dr. Jenne then received his dental degree from Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey. Upon graduating, he completed a one-year hospital based general practice residency at Rutgers University / University Hospital also in located in Newark.
During his residency at University Hospital, Dr. Jenne treated a wide array of on-call emergencies spanning from facial trauma and soft tissue lacerations to simple dental abscesses. He also treated pediatric emergencies like tooth avulsions and luxations. Some of his most rewarding experiences during residency were in the operating room treating full mouth rehabilitation cases on special care patients. He is a proud member of the American Dental Society and the New Jersey Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Jenne and his high school sweetheart, Carley, recently married in October of 2020 and decided to relocate to North Carolina to be closer to family. In his free time, Dr. Jenne enjoys walks and hikes with his wife and his yellow Lab/Great Dane rescue, Kona. Hes a sports enthusiast and will watch and talk about almost any sport! You may also find him on the local golf course tapping in for double bogey or at a brewery with his twin brother Chris.

Dr Jenne and his friendly, highly qualified staff is the absolute best. I know from the time that I enter the building that I will receive outstanding service from Ms Joan and Jordan. These ladies are super friendly and helpful to everyone! Once I'm in the chair I'm about to receive the best dental cleaning from Nikki and to seal the visit with the most qualified, friendly and honest Dentist, Dr Jenne. I highly...highly recommend this practice and my family would not go anywhere else!!!

I had been going to Dr. Wingate for years until we moved at which time I changed to another dentist that was close to our new home. That was a mistake and I now happily drive an hour just to be taken care of by Dr. Wingate and her awesome staff. No matter what the procedure is going to be I am never nervous because she makes sure I am always comfortable. I just cannot say enough good things about her and her staff! Update: Now that Dr Wingate retired I wanted to give a few visits under Dr Jenne to see if the same level of service would be provided. Dr Jenne is simply awesome. He is thorough, knowledgable, and compassionate. Dr Jenne and the entire staff are amazing and I will not go anywhere else. They are no longer a preferred provider for my insurance but I will happily pay the difference simply because of the serve they provide.

Went to the clinic with an issue in my gum. Before the procedure I was told I will have to pay 139 our of pocket. And after the procedure they told me I owe them 189 and I paid that right away and now I am getting a mail saying I owe them $54 more. I know it is a estimate but this is almost double the initial amount. And their explanation was they can charge whatever, as I have signed an agreement to pay any amount. Dentist and the tech were nice but I will not be visiting this clinic, I need to know how much I am paying out of pocket, and this information keep changing.

I started going to Garner Family and Cosmetic Dentistry about a year ago when I had blue cross and blue shield insurance. After I was let go from that job, I still returned because this practice is more than worth it. They even gave me a courtesy discount and I was able to get a good quality teeth whitening kit. Everyone is so nice and gentle, while being effective. They really care about your goals and concerns regarding your teeth. Extremely professional, organized, and overall a pleasant environment. They take their time with you to make sure everything is done correctly and all your questions are answered. Everyone that has worked with me has taken genuine interest in my life not just as a patient but as a person. Thank you Garner Family, I actually feel cared about here.

The staff, from the front desk to the Techs to Dr.Jenne, are very cordial and create a very comfortable environment. They are thorough in laying out options and treatment plans. Their notification system via text is very effective and efficient. An outstanding practice.

Personally I'm not a big fan of the dentist in general, and have had some terrible experiences with dentist down here but I have to say my experience at Garner Family Dentistry was excellent from the time I called to when I walked out ...the staff and Doc were kind, professional and personable- I walked thinking , how thankful I was ...I don't think I've ever walked out of a dentist office thinking that before ...good people

Have been going here for years, but with the new management and staff their services have become even better than before. My hygienist, Hilary is so professional and excellent in taking care of my teeth. She provides the absolute best cleaning and helps me identify problem areas and offers suggestions for taking care of my teeth. The new dentist is very personable and provides excellent patient care, explaining what is going on and what to watch for.
