Dr. Matthew Jenne and our office team will work with children to develop good oral hygiene habits and to educate them on the benefits of a healthy smile. We provide dental sealants, sports mouthguards, and dental care for the needs of a growing smile in the comfort of our Garner dentist office. Children often enjoy being able to be seen by the same dentist their parent visits, and this provides the opportunity for parents to reinforce the development of good oral habits.

Dr. Jenne grew up in Northern New Jersey and was inspired to pursue dentistry by his father, Donald, who practiced general dentistry for over 35 years. Dr. Jenne received his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Stockton University in Galloway, New Jersey. While at Stockton University, he competed on the Universitys soccer team as a NCAA student athlete. Dr. Jenne then received his dental degree from Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey. Upon graduating, he completed a one-year hospital based general practice residency at Rutgers University / University Hospital also in located in Newark.
During his residency at University Hospital, Dr. Jenne treated a wide array of on-call emergencies spanning from facial trauma and soft tissue lacerations to simple dental abscesses. He also treated pediatric emergencies like tooth avulsions and luxations. Some of his most rewarding experiences during residency were in the operating room treating full mouth rehabilitation cases on special care patients. He is a proud member of the American Dental Society and the New Jersey Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Jenne and his high school sweetheart, Carley, recently married in October of 2020 and decided to relocate to North Carolina to be closer to family. In his free time, Dr. Jenne enjoys walks and hikes with his wife and his yellow Lab/Great Dane rescue, Kona. Hes a sports enthusiast and will watch and talk about almost any sport! You may also find him on the local golf course tapping in for double bogey or at a brewery with his twin brother Chris.
