There are a ton of orthodontists in town, and even some dentists who havent been trained as orthodontistsbut offer treatment. There are lots of factors to consider in choosing an orthodontist. We believe that one of the most important should be whetheror not they are board certified.
A board certified orthodontist is an orthodontist who has voluntarily gone through hundreds of additional hours of preparation to demonstrate their judgment, skills, and knowledge required for providing the highest level of patient care. And they have achieved board certification through the American Board of Orthodontics, the only orthodontics specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and in affiliation with the American Association of Orthodontists.
A board certified orthodontist is committed to thehighest level of patient care including a comprehensive treatment approach to ensure quality work. And board certified orthodontists must renew their certification every 10 years to demonstrate their continuous commitment to excellence.
No, there are not. In fact here in the Valley of the Sun, there are very few. Were talking less than 30% of the orthodontists in town are board certified. But guess who is conveniently located in Mesa, Queen Creek and the Gilbert/Chandler area and is board certified: these guys!
It really does. Your smile is forever. An orthodontic treatment gone wrong could prolong treatment, be more painful than necessary, cause you to lose teeth unnecessarily, permanently damage your bite and cause other complications such as TMJ or premature wear and tear on your teeth.

We've used Garn Mason for all three of our kids' braces. The Doctors & staff are friendly and knowledgeable, they run on time, and our kids now have straight teeth & beautiful smiles! I also found them to be lower in price than several other Orthodontists we researched in the East Valley. We have been completely happy with their level of service & the results. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved being worked on by Jasmine, she explained everything throughly for each adjustment and was always careful to make sure I had a pain free experience! Anytime I come in there's always a smile on her face!! I love garn and mason and all the staff there! Definitely The best Ortho I've been too. They make having teeth work done a whole fun experience!

I have been a return patient since i was about 15. They did amazing work every single time. Very informative, ver patient and extremely personable. The staff has gone above and beyond for me, for years. It is always consistent customer service. Amazing, amazing company. I recommend them to everyone.

This has been the best dental experience I've ever had. They were so accommodating through Covid. The whole process was seamless and the office was always friendly. Anytime I needed to reschedule or had concerns they were quick in responses and always helpful. I cannot recommend them enough. And - my teeth are PERFECT

The team is so awesome! We love both Dr Mason and Dr Garn. My husband and I drove 50 miles round trip to get to this place each appointment- that should say enough about our experience. They're affordable also- won't price gouge you. Highly recommend!

Garn and Mason is the best orthodontic center. The staff are committed to great service and were always so friendly. The doctors are very knowledgeable and personable. The office atmosphere is fun and they have many fun incentives for the kids meeting treatment goals. I have had two daughters go through treatment here and soon a third. Most importantly, my daughters teeth look amazing. I highly recommend!

What an amazing Team!! The entire process, from the consultation through getting my sons braces off, was amazing! I will have my daughter get her braces here when it's her turn as well! Highly recommend Garn and Mason Orthodontists!!

Garn and Mason has been amazing. They have been seeing all 3 of my kids and my first one just finished getting his braces off. His teeth look amazing! He has been receiving lots of compliments. All the staff has been amazing and always welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend Garn and Mason!

We've had 3 kids go through braces with Garn and Mason Orthodontics and couldn't be happier. The entire staff is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make sure our twins had appointments together which is very helpful when you're juggling multiple kids, schools, and sports. When we had a bracket break (which only happened twice) we were seen within a day. 10/10 would recommend them! I have 3 beautiful smiles and one more "waiting to straighten".

My family has been going to Garn & Mason for 10 years and my two kids were both patients. Today was my son's last visit. They have been awesome! They we always professional, caring, and informative. They always ensured my husband and I knew and understood the plan for each of our children. They always stayed true to appointment times and in the 10 years we went there we NEVER had to wait even once past our appointment time. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing orthodontic experience!!

I have been with Garn and Mason for more than 5 years and I am so happy with my results. I was not blessed with the best genetics and now I can't stop staring at my smile. It has helped me to be more confident and they have always made an effort to get to know me on a personal level. I had a wonderful experience getting the smile I always wanted.
