After a year at Brigham Young University and 2 years at Portland State University, Dr. Garlock received a Bachelor of Science and graduated summa cum laude. Our orthodontist then attended Oregon Health Sciences University Dental School where he graduated at the top of his class with honors.
While in Dental school, David Garlock spent much of his time serving in the community. He volunteered as a Boy Scout leader in the community,provided dental health education to children, teens and adults through various community organizations and schools, and provided dentistry to the underserved children of Portland.
After Dental School, Dr.Garlocks prior achievements were recognized by world renowned Saint Louis University Department of Orthodontics, who allocated David a spot in their residency program where he received an additional two and a half years of specialized post-graduate training in orthodontics earning a masters degree in dentistry in the process. It was here that our orthodontic specialist learned to combine the art and science of creating beautiful, balanced and healthy smiles using the latest technologies and advanced treatments allowing him, as he feels, to be Aurora Colorados best orthodontist.
Dr. Garlock has a firm commitment to continuing his education, ensuring that he is giving the best possible care to his patients.In fact, Dr. Garlock serves on the Advisory Board for the prestigious Seattle Study Club chapter here in Denver. This role allows him to serve, instruct and learn with the best Dentist and Dental specialist in our area. He also plays a leadership role in another local study club where he has given lectures and instruction on Invisalign and other orthodontic treatments.

I am a current patient here for my invisaline treatment. The front desk crew is always so welcoming and greets me with kindness. The staff as a whole are all very pleasant and Dr. Garlock is very personable and knowledgeable. The space as a whole is also very uplifting and is structured unlike any Orthodontic office I've ever seen, it's very spacious and refreshing.

This is my second experience with Garlock Orthodontics and we love how friendly and fun the entire staff is! Garlock worked with me during my braces treatment, when I moved to another state in the middle of treatment. Now we are back and he's treating my daughter. They are always on time and super flexible which our schedule. If you're looking for a great orthodontist, Garlock is your place!

We have been going to Garlock for almost 2 years now. My 11 yr old (newly out of braces) bashed her front adult tooth late last night. Not only was he responsive and I spoke to him immediately he was able to get her in very quickly today to assess the damage (it wasn't dangling but it is loose). He calmed my nerves as I panicked about her tooth potentially being dead. My youngest will likely need braces now that her adult teeth are starting to come in & we'll definitely be staying here if she does need them.

We are taking our son there for braces. The staff is super helpful and kind, polite and always ready to answer our questions. The doctor and the technicians are the best, very knowledgeable and good at what they do.The office is spotless every time we go and they were able to accommodate us multiple times when we needed urgent care. We highly recommend them, they are the best doctor's office we ever visited overall.

Dr. Garlock and his clinical assistants are absolutely amazing. We have not had one bad experience since we began this journey with our two boys. Both have had a smooth experience. We live quite a distance from an orthodontist, and we thought about just having our dentist do the braces. However, we have noticed that friends who have done that have had regular problems- especially with broken brackets. So we decided to drive the distance. Totally worth it! We have not had nearly the difficulty our friends have had. Dr. Garlock's office is esthetically very pleasing and comfortable. We never have to wait for our appointment to begin, and the staff is very thorough. Cannot recommend enough!
