Dr. Gardner grew up in Utah and spent many days snowboarding the Greatest Snow on Earth. Before college, he spent two years in Ecuador as a missionary and became fluent in Spanish. After his missionary service he attended Utah Valley University (UVU) to complete his pre-dental requirements and graduated Cum Laude with his BA in Spanish.
Dr. Gardner relocated to Texas in 2007 to attend dental school at UT Health San Antonio on scholarship. He graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011 and completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency to further his education.
Dr. Gardner is especially passionate about sedation dentistry and dental implants. He is certified to administer various levels of sedation for the comfort of his patients and has received extensive surgical training for dental implants.
Dr. Gardner is married to his all-time favorite person, Denise, and together they have four great kids. When not in the office, Dr. Gardner enjoys spending time with his wife, playing with his kids, or working on a project at home.
Denise was born and raised in Chicago, IL and first became interested in dentistry at a very young age. Her father and grandfather were both dentists and she was taught early on the importance of serving others and helping themachieve optimal oral health. She attended the competitive dental hygieneprogram at Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, UTwhere she earned her RDH degree.She enjoys the opportunity to help her patients understand how oral health benefits their overall health.
Denise is passionate about health overall and can often be found working out, advancing her knowledge of wellness or trying new recipes in the kitchen.Denise enjoys organizing and interior design and gets all the credit for the look and feel of our beautiful dental office. Denise's favorite place to be is at home with her family. She and Dr. Gardner have four beautiful, energetic children.
Connie was born and raised in Mississippi. She attended dental hygiene school in Corpus Christi, Texas where she graduated with honors. She and her husband both love Texas and are glad to call it home along with their two grown sons.
Connie has over twenty years of dental hygiene experience and has worked in pediatric, periodontal and general dentistry offices. She has a passion for excellent dental care and patient comfort and works diligently to give our patients the very best. She joined Gardner Springs Dentistry in 2017 and is grateful to be a part of a team where those principles of excellence and patient comfort are always a top priority.
Becky is one of our part-time dental hygienists. She was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon but relocated to Texas a few years ago along with her husband, Colin, their two young children, and a Pyrenees / German Shepard rescue puppy. Being new to Texas, she and her family enjoy exploring state parks, new restaurants and the little towns through the Hill Country.
Becky brings over 19 years of dental clinical experience. She had her start in dentistry as a pediatric dental assistant, which she greatly enjoyed for 5 years. She went back to school in 2007 to become a registered dental hygienist. Becky enjoys the independence and autonomy of dental hygiene and the opportunity to care for each of her patients individually.
Ashley is one of our part-time dental hygienists. She was born and raised in Texas and attended UT Health San Antonio for dental hygiene school where she graduated with honors. She joined the team at Gardner Springs Dentistry in July 2021. She strives to ensure a positive dental experience for each patient and is passionate about educating her patients on preventative oral health practices. Ashley resides in Boerne with her husband, Brian, their three amazing children and three dogs.
Beni has been in the dental field for over 25 years and feels fortunate to have worked with so many caring and skilled professionals throughout her career. She loves her job as a dental assistant and takes great pride in her work; providing the best patient care is extremely important to Beni. The most rewarding part of her career has been to see the positive change that comes to the lives of her patients through their dental experiences.
Beni was born and raised in McAllen, TX but has lived with her family inSan Antonio since 1994.She has been happily married to her husband, Angel, for over 30 years and together they are the proud parents of two wonderful children: Valerie and Andrew. They are a proud military family. Beni also has an adorable dog named 'Oreo' who selflessly gives them love and joy every day.
Sandra is originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, near Mexico City, and is fluent in the Spanish language. She has been a dental assistant since 2012 and joined Gardner Springs Dentistry about three years ago. Sandra enjoys sharing her dental knowledge and using her experience to benefit our patients. She has a passion for excellent dental care and is currently working to advance her dental education and become a dental hygienist. Sandra enjoys exercise, travel, and a variety of outdoor activities with her lovely son, Andre.
Raquel brings over 25 years of dental experience with her to our Gardner Springs Dentistry team, having worked in both large and small practices over the years. She is happily married to Mike, a systems engineer, and has two grown children and two grandchildren who are her pride and joy. Her favorite food is Pizza, her favorite season is Fall, and she has a beloved fur baby, Kona, who was named after a family trip to Hawaii. Raquel is excited to be at Gardner Springs Dentistry and looks forward to being a part of our great team for many years to come.

Hands down best dental clinic I've been to since moving to Texas. Dr. Gardner is so caring and patient and the dental hygienist give the most thorough cleanings I've ever had. Would recommend to anyone and their family.

Awesome Staff and Awesome Experience - I visited Gardner springs Dentistry for a routine cleaning and checkup. They worked me in on a cancellation and saved me 2 months of waiting. It had been a couple of years since my last cleaning. Additionally, I was looking for a new dentist in the Boerne area. My wife had been to Gardner Springs previously and gave them high marks. I could not have been more pleased.....Becky was my dental hygienist and was absolutely outstanding!!!.....personable, professional, and explained to me exactly what she was doing. It was the most comprehensive exam/cleaning I have ever had. Dr. Gardner was equally pleasant. Personable, professional and he gave me the run down on what he saw and his recommended plan of attack, in order of priority. The whole experience was positive and the way a dental experience should be. Make your appointment today.....you might have to wait but it will definitely be worth it.....Jason E.

We are fairly new to Boerne and so glad to find such a great office. This was mine and my husband's first appointment with Gardner Springs Dentistry. Dr. Gardner and the entire staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The office was so clean and comfortable. We appreciate how thorough our exam was with Dr. Gardner. He spent time getting to know us personally and explained our needed treatment, allowing time for our questions. Our hygienists, Connie and Ashley, were both personable, professional, and thorough as well as gentle. We are excited to have a new dental home.

Where do I start the staff is phenomenal my teeth are flipping amazing dr Gardner is a rare yet outstanding dentist he went above and beyond to help me with my fear teeth 6 years it took me to get help and I'm so happy I did . He gave me my smile back and helped with my anxiety I'm just beyond greatful he cared so much about me to take his time and make feel confident again

Dr Gardner and staff were awesome. My experience there was excellent. The office was super clean and comfortable. Dr Gardner answered all my questions about cosmetic dentistry. He was very knowledgeable about alternative migraine solutions too. An excellent dentist and very attentive.

I met Dr. Gardner when I was in dental asst. school. And as a former student, I can attest his affable demeanor and his impeccable skill set is second to none. I've had many painful dental procedures, but I've never had an unpleasant experience with Dr. Gardner and will continue to use him for all my dental needs. His mild manner and professional staff provide a comfortable cutting edge facility that will ease any anxiety you may have. Gardner Springs Dentistry comes through in a big way for our family. On the doorstep of a busy holiday season, we found our 9-year-old son had a bad tooth. With one call to the Gardner Springs office, they were able to accommodate a same day visit with what turned out to be a required tooth extraction. Gardner Springs staff were gentle, caring, and patient with our son for his first experience of dental work to this degree. Everything you would want for your child in this circumstance Gardner Springs staff and facility accommodations delivered on, making the tooth extraction agreeable and without objection from our son. I've posted once and feel the need to post it again, Gardner Springs have excelled in providing our family needed dental care. If looking for a dentist to meet a wide variety of dental service needs, Gardner Springs is a great place to start for a comfortable and trustworthy experience. 12/4/21 Gardner Springs Dentistry has excelled in providing our family dental care. Beyond the quality care and comprehensive services provided by both Dr. Gardner and his staff, the pricing for general services and treatment plans is very respectful and affordable. Dr. Gardner and his staff have been professional and responsive to all our service needs, all of which is completed in a personable manner. For a period of time my wife and I had switched to another dentist office due to a change in our employer insurance coverage. When the opportunity presented itself we quickly and comfortably returned to Gardner Springs, this time also enrolling our two children (ages 8 & 10) as new patients.
