Born and raised in the state of Washington, Dr. Gardner grew up in a small farming town where he was very active in the community. After high school, Dr. Gardner attended Gonzaga University with an academic scholarship and earned his Bachelor of Science degree while graduating with high honors and being awarded Summa Cum Laudestatus. Dr.Gardner continued his education at Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry where he recieved his DMD degree (Doctor of Dental Medicine) and was honored for his academic excellence through numerous awards and membership to the prestigious Omnicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. Dr. Gardner's training was completed at the Oregon Health Sciences University Orthodontic Specialty Program where he earned his certification in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics
Dr. Gardner is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Mount Baker Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics. Washington State Society of Orthodontist, American Board of Orthodontics, and the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Gardner regularly attends continuing education seminars to keep current on the latest technologies and treatment techniques, and he participates in an orthodontic study club with colleagues
As a board certified orthodontic specialist, Dr. Gardner has the advanced training and special skills required to manage tooth movement and guide facial development. He is dedicated to providing excellent orthodontic treatment through quality service and technical expertise
Dr. Gardner puts a priority on our community, and he and his entire team are involved in many efforts to support various civic organizations,local schools, and youth activities in Skagit County and Island County. Dr. Gardner and his entire team participate in and support community events in Mount Vernon, Burlington, Sedro-Woolley, Anacortes, Stanwood, Oak Harbor, and Coupeville (and more). In addition, Dr. Gardner regularly attends events to help support Seattle's Children's Hospital

Dr. Gardner and his staff are AMAZING! We are so excited to have treatment completed here! Dr.Gardner and ALL his girls are so kind and welcoming!! Every one there goes above and beyond to explain everything and make everyone feel comfortable.

After years of traumatic dental and orthodontic experiences, I went in to ask Dr Gardener (who did my retainers for over 4 years) about getting A. New retainers and B. Maybe realignment, and he told me "sometimes you should just be happy with what you have" well? I'm not happy really, at all, with the work that was done. The duration of time it took to get my teeth looking just ok, and the surprise of "oh yeah sorry, you have to wear a retainer for life for this sub par job. Thanks, especially, for your empathy and kindness when I asked a friendly and common question. Would not recommend for professional adult care services in orthodontics.

This office has the friendliest staff, Dr Gardner does amazing work, and somehow they make it fun for my kids and very accommodating at getting me in quickly for a broken retainer.

Dr. Gardner and his staff were great to me the entire time I had my braces on! Got my braces off today and I'm in love with my results!!! Definitely recommend for anyone who's interested in braces!

I highly recommend Dr Gardner and his staff! They did the braces on my older daughter with amazing results and now are doing work on my younger daughter :) They all are super friendly and have made both experiences an amazing process!

Gardner Orthodontics is the best! All the staff are very friendly and made having braces enjoyable. Myself and all 3 of my children had braces and we all really enjoyed going here for our treatment. I would recommend going here 100%.
