Dr. Stacey Strickland Gardner received biology and business degrees from Birmingham-Southern College. She went on to receive her Degree of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Dentistry. Dr. Stacey found a love of dentistry at an early age since she is from a family of dentists. Dr. Stacey and her husband met at dental school and decided to move to Huntsville, Alabama to begin their practice.
Dr. Stacey is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is an executive committee member of the Speaker of the House of the Alabama Dental Association. She also served as a past president of the Huntsville/Madison County Dental Society and the 8th District Dental Society. In 2014, Dr. Stacey was honored to receive the Most Excellent Fellow Award from the Alabama Dental Association.
Dr. Steve Gardner is originally from Waynesboro, Mississippi. He attended Mississippi College for undergraduate studies and obtained a degree in Biology. He then attended the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Dentistry to earn his Degree of Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.). Dr. Steve did a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Birmingham. Dr. Steve and his wife, Dr. Stacey, moved to Huntsville to begin their careers and started their dental practice in July 1992.
Dr. Steve has served as president of the 8th District in the Alabama Dental Association and has been a member of the ALDA House of Delegates for several years. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Academy of General Dentistry and is also a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry. In 2014, Dr. Steve received the Most Excellent Fellow Award from the Alabama Dental Association.
Vicky grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, and currently resides in Madison with her husband, James, and her son, Grayson. Vicky joined Gardner Family Dentistry in July 2010. Vicky has been in the front office administration field for more than 17 years, where she has had the chance to get to know the patients of the practice.
Vicki moved to Huntsville with her parents and two sisters when she was 7 years old. Her interest in dentistry began with a summer job working for her childhood dentist. She became a dental assistant and then went on to obtain her dental hygiene license in 1995.
Jeanne, currently residing in Hazel Green, Alabama, began her career in dentistry in 1990 and acquired her dental hygiene license in 1993. Jeanne enjoys her career as a dental hygienist because it allows her to take care of her patients and form long-term friendships.
Born in Huntsville, Alabama, Kristin currently resides in Hazel Green with her family. Kristin joined Gardner Family Dentistry in 1992 as a full-time dental assistant. Kristin enjoys being a dental assistant because it allows her to learn new things and she stays busy.
Born in Denver, Colorado, Kelly moved to Decatur, Alabama when she was four. Originally working as a cosmetologist for 13 years, Kelly took the opportunity to study dental assisting and has worked as a dental assistant for Gardner Family Dentistry since 2005.
Lauren grew up in Sacramento, California, and currently resides in Hampton Cove. Lauren joined Gardner Family Dentistry in October 2020 as a registered dental hygienist. She grew up loving the warm work setting of her family dentist and wanted that same family feel for her own career. The Gardner Family Dentistry team reminded her of exactly that!

I have been going to Gardner Family Denistry for 40 years! They are like my family there! Technicians are awesome, appointments are quick, not a lot of waiting, updated equipment and beautiful office decor. Prompt reminders are a bonus.

Over the ten (10) year period of my being a patient, I have always been confident of Dr. Gardner's genuine concern for my dental care. He is an expert in his field and has helped me through many complicated dental issues. From the faces that greet you as you come through the door, to the dental assistants, hygienists and even the bookkeeper, everyone is highly trained and eager to help. I must add the office and exam rooms are beautifully decorated and most importantly immaculate and germ free. I feel very safe going to their office in the midst of this covid pandemic. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional dental care.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. They were able to accommodate an emergency visit for an out of towner and very willing to get me scheduled and work with my hometown dentist as well. Highly recommend.

Very attentive, caring, competent and professional staff. Super accommodating to emergencies of which I have had more than serveral. Dr. Gardner & his assistant, Vicky, do excellent, painless dental work. All staff are always welcoming and willing to be of service. I've been going to Gardner Family Dentistry for a few years now. I've seen multiple hygienist and they have all been amazing. I've also taken some preventative measures and had multiple teeth sealed. My sealents have held up great!!

Grateful for the kindness and pleasant team at Gardner Family Dentistry. While having a dental problem is no fun, they are accommodating and able to slip into an opening on their calendar. If you need a dental provider, they are a great choice!
