Sandra helps keep our patients comfortable as she assists Dr. Hummert in the clinical area. With over 30 years of experience in dentistry and orthodontics, Sandras knowledge and gentle demeanor is well appreciated in our office. Sandra is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese. She loves everything about her job and always has a smile on her face! Sandra is the proud mother of three children, with one daughter who is currently in dental school and aspires to become an orthodontist! Her other daughter loves cheerleading, dancing, and arts, and her son is active in soccer. In her free time, Sandra enjoys crafting and decorating cakes.
Jasmine has been working in the dental profession since 2006, when she graduated from the Health and Nursing Program at East Side High School in Newark, NJ. Over the past decade, she has learned many skills that help her with all aspects of her scheduling/financial coordinator position at Garden State Orthodontics. She is an expert in dealing with insurance companies to maximize your benefits to the fullest extent possible. In addition, she loves to get to know our patients and is very enthusiastic about helping patients have a great experience at our office. She enjoys working with patients of all ages! In her own words, putting a smile on a patients face is what keeps a smile on my face. Outside the office, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her high school sweetheart and her adorable Cocker Spaniel that she loves to spoil. In addition, Jasmine enjoys crafting, the outdoors, and trying new things.
Brittney is an excellent dental assistant that has worked with us for over two years already! Brittney always greets our patients with her beautiful big smile and positive attitude. She loves working with both children and adults. She not only assists Dr. Hummert chair side, but also knows how to utilize all of our offices awesome technology. Brittney took extensive training to learn how to obtain 3-D scans with our state-of-the-art iTero scanner. She also has her New Jersey Dental Radiography License authorizing her to safely take x-rays using our state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine. During her free time, she enjoys reading and going to kickboxing classes!
Dr. Hummert is a native of Scotch Plains, NJ and currently resides in Millburn with her husband, Matt, two children, Sophia and Teddy, and duo ofScottish terriers named Angus and Clyde. She is passionate about her children and loves spending her free time playing with them and watching them grow. She also enjoys gardening and reading when time allows.
