Dr. Stephen Pou is a general dentist from Northern New Jersey whose clinical focus is regenerative, rehabilitative, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Pou has been consistently recognized for a thorough, patient-focused approach and has excelled in providing an exceptional yet continually improving dental experience. Centered by a patient-doctor partnership approach, Dr. Pou efficiently communicates and educates patients on their dental conditions to develop a tailored plan for treatment.
Prior to joining the GSDD team, Dr. Pou received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Fairfield University, then continued his post-baccalaureate studies at Seton Hall University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University College of Dentistry. Throughout his time at NYU Dental, he held multiple mentorship and teaching assistant roles and, in conjunction with Bellevue Hospital, provided care to victims of abuse and torture. Dr. Pou continues his dental training through rigorous specialized programs focused on implantology provided by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and other advanced training centers. He is also an active member of Spear Education and his local Spear Study Club, Academy of General Dentistry, and New Jersey Dental Association. He implements modern techniques in restorative treatment, orthodontic therapy to align teeth using Invisalign, endodontic cases, surgical procedures to augment and guide bone growth, and replacement of teeth using implants.

This place is so friendly. That's the best doctor in the city. Please don't looking for any another place, just go straight here. Doctor removed my wisdom teeth without any pain. He's so professional and so nice. Also all staff very very nice!!!!!! Thank you so much dr. Szabela.

I suddenly wound up with an extremely painful toothache and needed to be seen ASAP! I called and was given an appointment to see what was wrong that day and when the xrays confirmed a bad wisdom tooth, Dr. Zbella made time to extract my tooth right then and there! He was so gentle and quick that I didn't even know the tooth was out! His office is extremely clean and his staff is extremely efficient, friendly and professional. I highly recommend him! The best experience I have ever had going to the dentist. The office staff were so friendly and helpful. I was greeted with a big hello when I walked in the door. The dental tech with so sweet. She explained so much to me and listened to everything I had to say. Dr. Szabela was wonderful. I love the fact that they do not try to push different things on you. It was all about caring about the patient........not how much money they could make. I am confident that I have finally found a dentist that I trust and feel comfortable with. I would highly recommend them!!!

This is by far best DENTIST anywhere. The staff is the utmost professional I have seen anywhere. You will not beat this service anywhere. The Dentist is just great and the state of the art equipment is the best. The equipment is meaningless unless you have the right people. Arthur and has staff are superior!

Dr. Szabela and his staff are the best! He is so knowledgeable and always keeping up with the newest technology. You can get everything done in his office. His staff is so friendly and the office is so clean and beautiful; the chairs are so comfortable you really don't want to leave! I never feel a thing with any work I have ever had done by Dr. Szabela. He get's the job done, the right way and pain-free. What's better than that? He truly cares about each and every patient and takes the time to really understand what's going on in your mouth'. I would recommend this office/Dentist to any person that needs any kind of dental work done-he does it all from A to Z! Give them a call today!!!
