Dr. Daniel C. West has been practicing dentistry in the New Holland area since 1982. He received his B.S. degree in Biology, magna cum laude, from Eastern Nazarene College in Boston, MA. He then graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1982. Prior to practicing dentistry, he performed research in anesthesiology at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine. Dr. West has published papers in the field of anesthesia/pain control, as well as completing several surgical/hospital rotations. He has been a member of the faculty of the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine, where he has taught dental students in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. He has lectured internationally in medical and dental schools in Russia and Ukraine. Dr. West has been recognized by the American Dental Association for meritorious dental service to the medical community of Russia and Ukraine. The Academy of General Dentistry has awarded him the distinction of Master, the highest level of achievement a dentist can attain in the Academy. Additionally, Dr. West was the first dentist in Central Pennsylvania to be identified as a Master of the International College of Oral Implantologists and the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants. Dr. West is a graduate of the post-doctoral program in Dental Cosmetics and Aesthetics at New York University School of Dental Medicine, taught by the world renowned Dr. Larry Rosenthal, aesthetic dentist. Dr. West has been twice awarded the Outstanding Young Men of America distinction and is named in Whos Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities, Whos Who in Religion, Whos Who Among Rising Young Americans, Whos Who in America, Whos Who in the World, Whos Who in Science and Technology, and Whos Who in Business and Technology. He is the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Eastern Nazarene College in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. West is very active in family and church activities. He and his family have resided in Lancaster County for over 40 years.

I recently had a cleaning scheduled and the experience was great! Paul was amazing and represented this office very well! Customer service was great, the technology was awesome, and my teeth have never felt better! I will 100% be returning and recommending my friends and family. I had the pleasure of being seen by Anna today. She was very pleasant, attentive, and efficient. I don't remember other employee names, but I've never had a bad experience here. It's a great place for an exam, even if you're a little bit dental shy. I also appreciate the promptness. They do their best to stick to appointment times, and I've never been kept waiting.

One of my fillings came out and left a gap in my front teeth! They got me in the same day and even filled the cavity that day even though I haven't been in for 4 years. They have a treatment plan for patients who pay out of pocket. The staff are super nice and the facility is very clean. I am happy I came back! Thanks so much for accommodating me short notice

Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Scott got to the root of my problem quickly. And even though I was new to the practice, they got me in quickly. I will definitely be staying with this practice for my dental care.

Today I went to Garden spot dental for the first time... I was blown away by the friendly environment, clean space and most importantly competent and knowledgeable dental hygienists and dentists! Special shout out to Paul the hygienist who did my teeth today with some assistance from another staff member Mariana! You guys care so deeply for patients and love what you do thank you again!

I am an on the road Truck Driver. I had severe tooth pain from a broken tooth. I am not familiar with the area. I went to 2 other dentist office before going to the Garden Spot. Both offices were extremely rude and unconcerned with my pain. They wanted me to make an appointment, but I have a load to deliver in the morning and I never know what state I will be in next. But when I came into the Garden spot, I was greeted by a friendly and concerned face. Also every person that worked there were very professional and caring. The assistant whom took my tooth xray took extra measures not hurt me and The dentist was very informative, friendly and caring. I had extra issues with trying to extract the tooth. But he was very determined to extract the tooth and the deeply rooted broken fragments out. They took me in as an emergency patient and treated me, like I mattered to them. I am very thankful for all they did to help me.

The team at Garden Spot dental is top notch. I appreciate that they have invested in good people and the latest technology. I got x-rays taken and it was the quickest and most painless process.
