Zhihui Tang, DDS, PhD Dr. Tang received her Bachelor's degree in Oral Science from Beiijing Medical University School of Stomatology in 1997. With her academic excellence, she continued her study in thisprestigiousdental school to gain advanced dental training in Orthodontics. In 2000, shesuccessfully completed both clinical and dissertation requirements and achieved her Master's degree in Oral Science, specialty in Orthodontics. With a strong interest in dental research and technology innovation, Dr. Tang pursued the studyof dental researchat theUniversity of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she received herPhD in Molecular and Cell Biology in 2004. Dr. Tang then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degreefrom Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2007 after two and half years of additional training.
Dr. Tang practiced in several dental clinics after graduating from Columbia University. With many years of experience in dentistry, she gained diagnostic and treatment skills in most aspects of dentistry.Dr. Tang has more than three years of experience in pediatric dental clinics. She understands why there is dental fear and knows how to help you to cope with it. Dr. Tang loves to treat dental patients and wish to provide them with the best possible care. Dr. Tang believes that emphasis on preventative care and daily oral hygiene maintenance will lead to better oral health and a better life. In her spare time, Dr. Tang enjoys spending time with her husband Michael in cooking, hiking, gardening, chatting with friends or watching movies. They enjoy meeting people from different cultures and love tryinginteresting foods. Dr. Tang is a member of American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, and Hartford Dental Society.

My experience with Dr. Tang and the Garden Dental staff was very professional and helpful. They are thorough and get everything done, and let you know what they're doing and why. Overall the best experience I ever had visiting the dentist. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you Gina

My whole dentist and patient relationship has been congenial in the past, so I'm impressed how the disarmingly gentle professional skills of Garden Dental's staff put me at ease. It's more than the basic pleasantries of we all know why we're here let's get this over with scenario. I admire the insight and thoroughness attended to me on my first time having recieved filings and recommend this dental office to anyone who appreciates these same courtesies.

I have been around the world, got medical and dental care from different providers and backgrounds....and I'll say with full confidence that Dr. Tang is one of the rare Doctors you'll find these days with soul of humanity and pride of her work. She is true professional, knowledgeable and I'm blessed that I have finally found someone that I can trust after long years of unsuccessful, nightmares experiences. Dr. Tang is awesome!! She takes her time and does it right. She worked on one of my front teeth. From the novicane injection to the drilling and filling there was absolutly no pain. There was no pain after the novicane wore either. Great Great experience. Glenn Galotti

I feel that every time she provided our family with a high level of care at a reasonable price. I also felt like she enjoyed her activity and cared about my well being; I enjoyed our conversations. You will be in good and well trained hands at Garden Dental of Glastonbury.
