It is true that Dr. Edmond Iryami attracts most of his loyal patients from the South Shore of Long Island and nearby towns. But that does not tell the whole story of this Ivy League-educated dentist. Every year, Dr. Iryami is visited by a number of patients from hundreds of miles away to have their dental work done by him. The fact that this local dentist has developed a reputation that extends far beyond his neighborhood is not an accident. Rather, Dr. Iryami has developed such a devoted following who eschew nearby dentists in their own communities precisely because Dr. Iryami has mastered the art of melding his impeccable training with his laser-like focus on personal service to his patients, and his tenacity to never give up until he has relieved his patients of their pain and restored their dental health regardless of the simplicity or the complexity of the dental disease plaguing them.
Dr. Iryami earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1991 from Columbia University School of Dental Oral Surgery after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Johns University in 1987. After receiving his dental degree, Dr. Iryami completed his residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.
She then continued on to receive her doctorate from Columbia University, School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1990. After receiving her dental degree, she decided to continue on with her dental education. Dr Garcia went on to the VA Medical Center in the Bronx where she completed a program in advanced training in general dentistry(1990-91). While at the VA she treated many veterans and also examined hundreds of soldiers that were going to be deployed to Operation desert storm. She gained an abundance of information and respect from all the men and women in uniform she treated. They are the bravest, most disciplined and dedicated group of individuals I have ever met. A few years later she opened up her general dental practice in Valley Stream, NY. She and her husband, Dr Iryami, who she met back in dental school, practice together in this office. They have been practicing dentistry together for over 20 years.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Iryami! He is such a knowledgeable, good hearted, sweet dentist. The care and attention that I get every time is as if I were family. If you are looking for a trustworthy dentist, who's sole purpose is to take great care of your teeth in a gentle manner, and who will explain everything to you in detail until you are comfortable with the next step... then look no further. I am SO happy I found Dr. Iryami! TRUST ME, you will be too!

Best dentist! Dr. Iryami always takes care of me and my husband. He gave me an appointment immediately when I was in pain and got me feeling better. He is honest and takes his time to ensure that you are comfortable and understand what he is doing and what you will be charged (which was VERY fair for the work he performed). Would recommend to anyone!!

My daughter was 6 when we first started visiting this Dentist. She is very scared of Dentists but Dr. Garcia is extremely understanding and patient. He takes time to reassure her every step of the way. He doesnt dismiss her fears but kindly explains about the "sleepy juice" lets her touch the instruments and also rewards her bravery with a toy. He makes the stressful trip for me worthwhile.

I love this office and the doctors are husband and wife. My doctor is the husband. He's patient with you and he explains the procedures that's performed on you and if you still don't understand, he'll break it down even more into laymen's term. When ever I leave the office, my mouth feels better and I feel just a little more knowledgeable about my teeth.

Dishonest and cruel. He gave me a false diagnostic. Also questioning about my financial status. That was very unproffessional and shady.

Clean, honest, and family-friendly dentists. They are a husband and wife team. I see the wife. She is very kind, gentle and has a fantastic chair-side manner. She never "fix or cap" anything unnecessarily. She is extremely sensitive to my discomfort. I've been going to her for the last 15 years. I would highly recommend them.

She Charged copay from me which was far more than my actual copay. I called her office to cross check and the receptionist disconnected my phone line. Please crosscheck your copay with your insurance company. Treatment was good. Also they don't inform the patients before the treatment about the copay. I don't like people who cheat their client for money. Was going to recommend my whole family of 5 people and other friends but no more.
