We complete a thorough examination and discuss the state of your oral health with you. We ask you about your smile goals and answer all of your questions. We work together with you to review your options and design your individual treatment plan.
George Garbis, DDS is a native of Gaithersburg and a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, where he was selected for the Advanced Prosthodontic Clerkship. During his education and residency, Dr. Garbis was cited for several awards, including the Harry B. Schwartz Award for excellence in fixed prosthodontics and the American Student Dental Associations Award for outstanding leadership and dedication to the community.
Currently, Dr. Garbis is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the Howard County Association. Dr. Garbis also donates his time to the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery ethics program.

I can't say I have every had a pleasant experience at the Dentist, until I found Garbis Dental. Staff is supper friendly, knowledgeable, informative and down to earth. The Doc cares about all his patients, listens and educates to make the best decision for each patient. Great place to go.

The office is extremely clean and equipped with the latest technological advances in dentistry be it a new intra-oral scanner or dental composites. Thanks for all the years of stellar care!

Nobody likes going to the dentist...except when you go to Garbis Dental Associates!!! You're always greeted with a smile!! A first class operation!! The folks at GDA are attentive and accommodating. My regular 6 mo appointment was scheduled for the end of May. When I found out that Dr. Garbis's office was open and I could keep it, I was admittedly on the fence. Knowing how responsible Dr. Garbis's practice is, I decided to go. All possible precautions and accommodations were made for everyone and I felt completely safe. The office environment was as friendly as always. I went home happy with wonderfully clean teeth, thank you Lori! I can't say enough about this excellent, caring practice.

Tremendous! This is the way a practice should be managed and how a team performs efficiently. Lynn greeted me warmly and got me in earlier than I was scheduled. Eddie, my hygienist, was sensational. Dr. Garbis fixed a tooth two prior dentists couldn't. I received some not so great news about deteriorating gums, but Dr. Garbis and Eddie were both positive, uplifting and motivating about improving my home care regimen. Kudos to my husband as his great researching skills found this practice. I am so glad I'm a patient here!

we are new patients but best of all we found out about Dr Garbis when our regular dentist retired and then realized he is so close to our house, we could walk to his building. Before it took us 1.5 hrs r/t, now it is under 10min. What really matters is that Dr. Garbis and his staff are really great, careful in explaining very detail, gentle with the instruments/tools and asking us repeatedly if we are ok during the procedure. We are glad we are their patients.
