Dr. Gano has been practicing dentistry since 1993, this local Kalamazoo dentist has been rooted in the area his entire life. His younger years were spent in Mattawan, then he earned a Bachelor of Science at Western Michigan University and following that, he attended the University of Michigans School of Dentistry.
She has been with the Dental profession for almost 30 years. As an assistant, administration, and billing. She enjoys greeting the patients and helping them coordinate their dental and scheduling needs. She has lived in the Plainwell area most of her life where she now resides with her husband. Together we have 4 children and 12 grandchildren. She enjoys the outdoors, college football, and summertime!
Sam joined our office in 2015! She graduated from Kalamazoo Valley Community College where she earned her Associates degree in Applied Science. She enjoys interacting with patients and is passionate about providing optimal oral hygiene care. In her spare time she enjoys spending time at the lake and traveling!
Brandi graduated from Ferris State University in 2021. She earned her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene and a Bachelors degree in Allied Health. Her favorite thing about being a hygienist is educating patients on their oral health. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family!
She graduated from Ross in 2020! She enjoys using her skills to contribute to the team and help patients navigate through their dental needs. In her free time she likes to spends time with family, friends, and her dogs!
Olivia graduated from Delton High School in 2021. In her spare time she enjoys nature, traveling, plant and antique shopping! She likes to spend time with her nieces/nephews, boyfriend, friends, and family!

Dr.Gano is an amazing Denstist. Very knowledable and helpful. The Staff on the other hand is super rude and not very helpful.

I have gone to this office for over ten years. It's a very comfortable environment, everyone is super friendly and they're great with children. If you're someone who is nervous about going to the dentist, I don't think you could ask for a more relaxed environment. Dr. Gano is very knowledgeable, skilled at dental work, and I've never felt pushed to do more work than necessary. I've found them to be very flexible and understanding when it comes to insurance and scheduling issues. I couldn't ask for more in a dental office.

I have gone to Dr Gano since I was a child and I used to trust his office. My work recently switched dental insurance, and at my last visit I provided them with my new information. I was told my insurance was run and that I was good to go, I was not told that they were an out of network office for my new insurance. I was just very rudely requested to pay a $92 bill on a service that would have been covered 100% if they had bein network. Julie argued with me over the phone that my insurance would not have covered my visit even if they had been in network, which is absolutely not true. A preventative care visit is at no cost to me under my in network only plan, they are simply not in my network and didn't inform me of that at the time of my visit. Know that this office has no problems being slimy to you whether you are a new patient or a long time established patient who brings your entire family to them. Edited to say Meredith called to speak with me about the way Julie handled my situation and I will be receiving a refund for the bill that I paid.

Had an appointment with Dr. Gano today for the first time and was was very satisfied with the entire experience. The reception staff was very friendly, the hygienist I saw was more than professional, and Dr. Gano himself was an overall nice guy. Would definitely return for any further dental needs and would recommend to all of my friends .

Dr.Gano did excellent work on my teeth. He's very humble, down to earth, and has wonderful hands. Didn't feel anything! The staff are super nice and the office is very clean. Highly recommended

I will never return. Dr. Gano was very arrogant and condescending. You could feel the low moral in his office and he showed little respect to his hygienist and assistant. His small talk was painfully forced and his demeanor was stone hearted. I cannot trust my health with someone who cannot authentically show genuine compassion to his patients or create any sort of positive work environment.

Overall the staff and doctor are easily to talk to (when your mouth isn't wide open) ;) and it's just a relaxing environment. I've never had a disappointing visit.
