Dr. Donald J. Annicelle grew up in Trumbull, CT and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2003. He attended The University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he graduated in 2007 with a minor in Oral Diagnostic Sciences and a focus on TMJ dysfunction. He continued his education in a 1-year general practice residency at Danbury Hospital,and was working in Fairfield County for 3 years before joining Center Dental Office in December 2010.
Dr. Annicelle brings a fresh and modern approach to dentistry, with the same compassion and care that is the standard of Center Dental Office. Dr. Annicelle was the recipient of the Anthony Gugino Humanitarian Award in 2007, and has been voted a Connecticut Top Dentist.
Dr. Annicelle stays active by playing golf. Dr. Annicelle loves traveling and going for long walks with his beautiful wife Vilma and their son, Eric. He also enjoys the company of his friends and family.
Dr. Vilma Pelaez Annicelle grew up in Woodside, Queens and graduated from Fordham University in 2000. She then went on to work as a Physician Office Assistant in the Lymphoma Department for three years in NYC's Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center beforeattending the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where she graduated in 2007. There she received a minor in Oral Diagnostic Sciences with a focus in TMJ dysfunction. Following graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Brooklyn Veterans Affairs Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Pelaez Annicelle has received a multitude of awards during her career including the Eleanor Bushee Award and Pierre Fauchard Scholarship foracademic excellence and outstanding leadership andStephen Totten Memorial Award for her significant work in oncology.
In her private life, Dr. Pelaez Annicelle enjoys traveling especially to Walt Disney World and spending time with her husband, Dr. Donny Annicelle and their son, Eric. She enjoys visiting her family in her native New York City, walking, playing tennis, barre, pilates, yoga, bowling, expressing her artistic skills through paint/wine classes or enjoying a relaxing evening watching a movie at home. She is a certified Holistic Life Coach, Reiki I and II practitioner and obtained her 200hr Yoga Certification in May 2021.She loves toincorporate mind and body wellness in her dental practice.
More than anything, Dr. Pelaez Annicelle has always been motivated to learn and is always seeking out new methods and materials that are available. She is an active member of Spear online continuing education, a leader in clinical excellence and practicesuccess . Shehas special interests in TMJ Dysfunction, the relationship between of Sleep Apnea and the Oral Cavity and the oral-systemic link.
