Our office is conveniently located on Liberty Street in beautiful downtown Franklin, Pennsylvania. There is ample parking both in front of the office and in the back parking lot. Our charming office is decorated with historic dental equipment, Coca Cola memorabilia, and other antique collectibles.

Dr. Gammello was born and raised in Oil City, Pennsylvania. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in 1981. He then earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1985. Upon completion of his dental degree he was inducted into the Beta Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Following his graduation from dental school, Dr. Gammello was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a Captain and immediately entered into a one year general practice residency at Wright-Patterson AFB Regional Medical Center in Ohio. Upon completion of his residency program, Dr. Gammello was then assigned to the dental staff at F.E. Warren AFB, WY, where he practiced for an additional four years. During his time in the Air Force, Dr. Gammello was certified in Intravenous Conscious Sedation, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He also received an expert marksmanship ribbon as well as a Meritorious Service Medal. During the summer of 1990, Dr. Gammello and his wife Lil returned home to enter into private dental practice.

Dr. Gammello is passionate about taking the time to inform and educate his patients so that they can make knowledgeable decisions regarding the dental care they receive. This passion parallels Dr. Gammellos personal philosophy that people always maintain a curiosity about life and never lose the desire to learn. On the weekend, you can often find the Gammellos attending Pitt football and basketball games at their alma mater.

Personal Passion: I love spending time with my family, including my husband Mark, our two children, Ben and Nick, our nine year old boxer, Gabe, our two cats, Bella and Penny, and the most recent addition, our Australian Shepherd puppy, Jax.

About Me:After working in Dental and Medical Administration for 30+ years (yikes!), I have found my calling here at Gammello's! It didnt take me long to learn that this is the practice I want to work for until I retire! Dr. Mark and Lil are wonderfully caring towards their patients and staff and truly treat everyone like family!

Fun Fact:Originally from Hermitage, PA, Ive worked in dental (and medical) office management for more years than Id like to admit! Ive lived and worked all over the country, including Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Johnstown, Los Angeles, Orlando and Salt Lake City.

Favorite Way To Spend a Weekend: In the summer, I enjoy kayaking, camping and camp fires with the family dog. In the colder months, I enjoy cozying up with hot chocolate and a good book, also with the family dog, and waiting for a soup to simmer until its done!
