The Galloway Smiles team is experienced and kind. Theyve watched many of our patients join the practice as children, then grow to be adults who bring in their own kids! They love getting to know the families in our practice, and most live right here in the community. On top of that, everyone keeps current with the ever-changing technology and guidelines in dentistry to keep you safe, healthy, and comfortable while in our care.

Dr. Josh Halderman is from Centerville, Ohio, and attended The Ohio State University for both his dental degree and his undergraduate degree in Zoology. He has practiced in Columbus since 2006 and in 2016 found his permanent home at Galloway Smiles.

Dr. Halderman is passionate about treating his patients like family and constantly improving his techniques and materials. He has additional training in dental implants and sedation to make your dental visit as comfortable as possible.

Roni is originally from Bridgeport, OH. She earned her dental hygiene degree from The Ohio State University. Shes been with us for 17 years, and somehow she keeps finding ways to make her patients crack up laughing while in the dental chair.

Originally from North Columbus, Karen is passionate about her family, dental hygiene, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and dogs--especially golden retrievers! She and Dr. Halderman reunited in 2017 after previously working together for years at another office. She and her husband, a local real estate agent and avid skiier, have one son who lives and works in Akron, OH. They reside in Westerville where they can often be found enjoying theater productions put on at Otterbein University.

I have been going here for a few years now and I absolutely love the staff. Very friendly, personable, and overall just great people working here. Whenever I come in the Dr is always asking about me and the family, knows about my interests in tv shows & movies, and is genuinely inquiring about my and my family's well-being. Whenever someone asks me where I go for my dental work, I will forever tell them Dr Halderman and his staff at Galloway Smiles. There's just no place like it. MORE THAN HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Let me just say, this practice is the best dental office I've ever been to. When I said I have anxiety about anything dental related (especially needles), the staff immediately listened to my needs. Dr. Halderman is very personable and so are the hygienists! During my 2nd visit, I was greeted warmly by the staff and they even remembered little details about me and my past dental experiences. I am very happy with the work I have had done thus far and the comfort that I've been able to feel before, during and after my visits.

Dr. Halderman and his staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and cared for during your appointment. As someone who has tremendous anxiety about any and all dental visits, I was so impressed with the entire experience. I highly (HIGHLY!) recommend him to anyone in need of dental care.

I transferred my son, 2 to your dental office several months ago. He had his first visit at the end of May. I noticed he had a cavity on one of his back molars. He also had his enamel coming off on his front teeth which was previously discussed with the prior dentist. Due to COVID, the prior dentist office did not return a call for an appointment so I decided to transfer him to Galloway Smiles because of their amazing reviews. I will say Dr. Halderman was amazing in the way he talked to my son and making him feel comfortable. Unfortunately now we will be going to a new dental office due to the lack of attention towards his teeth. I am not a dentist by any means, I put my trust in providers as they have went to school to be in this occupation. However I do not approve of the outcome of my child's teeth because of the treatment plan Dr. Halderman chose. In May he looked at my son's teeth and just said that they would be keeping an eye on them and scheduled a follow up visit in August. When August came around the cavity was worse, deeper and so was my son's front teeth. We finally got a referral to a specialist. My son had dental surgery at the end of September and had to get three of his front teeth removed because they were decayed to the root. He had to get a crown on his back molar with the cavity because it was too deep to fill. They also had to do a nerve treatment on it. He had other cavities on his teeth which had them place caps on them. First I never claimed that this was my fault, I take responsibility. I gave my son milk at bedtime not realizing that the milk breaks down the enamel and causes harm to teeth. Once I knew I stopped but the damage was already done. I am completely frustrated that in May when we had our first visit we were not referred then to maybe have a different outcome of him losing his three front teeth and maybe me not having a bill of $3,500 which I had to pay $2,550 up front just so he could get his teeth taken care of. The dentist there advised we should have been referred much sooner to them which yes I know this also goes on the prior dentist's office too however this should have not been handled the way it was. Please next time you see a child's teeth look like this, refer them immediately to a specialist so they do not have to go through everything we have. People learn from their mistakes, I certainly have with the milk and next time to push more on something happening instead of trusting in someone who works in the occupation.

I'll admit I am one of those people who enjoy going to the dentist, and having a good experience is key! I am always seen on time and quickly. I feel very heard and everything is explained to me clearly when I have questions. I love the online follow ups, as well as the texting reminders.
