Dr. MadhavMukundanbegan his interest in dentistry while pursuing his Bachelor's of Science, Pre-medicine degree at the University of Maryland at College Park.This along witha keen interest inpainting and the fine arts led him to enter the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the prestigious New York University in Manhattan, New York. After further completing aGeneral Practice Residency program at Wyckoff Heights MedicalCenterin Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Mukundan lived and practiced in NYC for 8 years before moving to this beautiful area of the world.Dr. Mukundan resides in Monterey with his wife Erin and son, Ryan. His keen interests are oil painting, fishing, and spending time with family.
Dr.Mukundan is committed to staying up to date with the latest treatments and technologies. He actively attends continuing education courses and is an active member of theAmerican Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Monterey Bay Dental Society.He also is an active member of theMonterey Peninsula Fine Art Foundation.

Amazing dentist and staff. They work well with the times I am available and they made dealing with my insurance so easy. The bookeeper figured out everything for me between payment plans etc. I have been to many dentists and this is by far the best one I have been to. Quick, caring and efficient.

LOVE THIS PLACE! All the staff is great, from the receptionist, to the assistants, to the dentists! They don't make you wait -- if you have an appointment at 9, you are being worked on at 9! The staff remember you and are really friendly. Dr. Mukundan is hilarious with his jokes and makes you feel very comfortable. And always checking on you while he's performing. GREAT PLACE! I can't wait to go back!

The first dentist I have ever liked in my life. Very professional and high tech. The doc is awesome! Very gentle and makes sure you are comfortable and goes out of his way to make sure you are not in pain. Best dentist ever! They even call to check up on you and make sure everything went well.
