Since 1982, Dr. Benza has provided Naples, FL residents with top-tier dental care. Originally from Binghamton, New York, he graduated from Catholic Central High School and completed his undergraduate studies at SUNY-Binghamton. Dr. Benza earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio. For more than 30 years, Dr. Benza has worked diligently to build lasting relationships with patients and is proud to have perfected the smiles of multiple generations of families in the Naples community. He is committed to doing beautiful dentistry and is an avid learner. He takes extensive continuing education classes to refine his skills and bring his patients the latest in dental materials and technology. It is important to him to spend time with each patient and give them the best care possible in a gentle and compassionate manner.
Dr. Benza and Galleria Dentistry have received numerous honors from patients and his dental peers. His dental peers have voted him a Top Dentist in the Gulfshore Magazine every year since 2011. He has received a Peoples Choice Award in the Dentistry category every year since 2001. Dr. Benza and his team are dedicated to providing individual care and helping patients achieve their optimal level of dental health, free from stress and discomfort.
Outside of the office, Dr. Benza is happily married to Sandra (a dental hygienist), and they have three wonderful children, Kristen, Anthony (who recently joined our team), and Sarah. Dr. Benza likes to stay busy golfing, traveling, and spending time with family.
Dr. Chelsea Benza was born and raised in the greater Cleveland area and called Hudson, Ohio her home for 20 years before moving to Naples, Florida. After graduating from Hudson High School, she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from Miami University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University, where she received several honors, including awards from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Association of Public Health Dentistry.
Dr. Benza loves the fusion of artistic and scientific aspects of dentistry and thoroughly educating her patients for the highest quality of care. Dr. Chelsea is very enthusiastic about practicing dentistry in her new hometown with her father-in-law and husband, Dr. Gery Benza and Dr. Anthony Benza, whose state-of-the-art dental practice emphasizes the highest quality of dentistry and attention to patient comfort.
Dr. Benza is an active member of The Academy of General Dentistry, the Collier County Dental Association (a local study club with collaborative specialists), Spears Academy Study Club, the Florida Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Aside from dentistry, Dr. Chelsea loves to race sailboats on Lake Erie with her family, be inspired in the kitchen, and travel the world with her husband!

This review isn't a reflection on the doctor. Just the check out/billing person. After two negative experiences in two visits with the billing person, I'm writing this review.The first time she demanded that I pay for the appointment prior to the appointment. I wrote a check, but the bill was less than the check I wrote. What is at issue is the attitude. When I say she demanded payment, her attitude was condescending, rude, and dismissive; therefore very disrespectful. The second time she reminded me of her disrespectful attitude by denying any possibility that I had a treatment plan with the cost of the procedure. She said, "I'm not going to argue with you," as if I was perpetuating a falsehood. It's disappointing to see people behave in a way that is intended to make others feel small. I asked to speak with the doctor, but I'm certain she didn't want me to have that conversation. She is a detriment to the office. Every other aspect of the experience was good.

There is absolutely no better dentistry practice in Naples! Dr. Anthony Benza is caring and has the knowledge and skill to provide the best care for your total dental health and maintenance. He and his assistant Anette are at the top of their professions.

Went to Galleria Dentistry because I had toothache, I was a bit nervous because I didn't know what was the reason for my pain, but when Dr. Gery Benza explained to me with detail and very professionally my diagnosis, I felted very confident. I will totally recommend Dr. Gery to anyone who feels like me. His dental assistant Diane, was very pleasant and make my whole dental experience very smooth!

My periodontist recommended Dr. Anthony Benza as my future Naples, Fl dentist. Went to Dr. Benza to establish myself. WOW! Am I lucky. Absolutely best dentist and assistants (Anette & Kelly). I have lived in Naples Fl for 23 years and would always have ALL my dental work done in Mass. Three years ago, my Mass. dentist retired (sad) and the practice was sold to a terrible dental company. So it was time to find new dentist in Mass. and Fl. I found Dr. A. Benza in FL.. Cleanest place I have ever been to, including ALL staff. Very organized office and front desk and very accomodating. Up to date on all equipment. Very best xrays and photos to show to patient and explaines everything in detail. I have always been fearful of the dentist but I do force myself to go every six months. I am fortunate to have found a dentist in Mass. also. Thank you Dr. A. Benza !

I recently broke a tooth while visiting Naples from Montana. My experience at Galleria Dentistry was terrific. Dr. Chelsea Benza and her dental assistant, Jackie, were friendly, caring and professional. The office is efficiently run (I was seen right on time for both of my appointments). My new crown (made on the premises), feels and looks great. Dr Benza did an excellent job of explaining my treatment options and she walked me through every step of the way, so I knew what was being done in real time. She was extremely careful and thorough, making sure my crown was perfect, from color to bite. She checked in with my pain level consistently throughout the procedure, which was painless. An estimate of the cost was provided before the work was done and the actual cost was less than estimated. Whether you live in Naples, or just need dental attention while visiting, I would definitely recommend Galleria Dentistry.

I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Anthony Benza as my dentist and would give him a million star rating if I could! With the challenging dental issues I have, it takes an exceptional dentist like Dr. Benza to help prevent additional complications and appropriately take care of my dental health. Dr. Benza has the high level of professional knowledge and expertise needed, as well as the integrity and dedication to closely monitor these ongoing dental issues. It's obvious Dr. Benza genuinely cares about his patients and goes far above and beyond to help. His guidance and help in coordinating appropriate treatment options required by another specialist really made a difference for me, and I really appreciate his thoroughness and attention to detail and that he keeps me well informed at the same time. I'm honestly blown away by how amazing Dr. Benza is, and the way he handles the complex and ongoing dental issues I have. He's in a league of his own with the way he practices dentistry, and I have confidence with Dr. Benza as my dentist. I think it's also important to mention that he is genuinely compassionate and supportive with his patients. In my opinion, it's just impossible not to really like him!!! It's obvious Dr. Benza really cares about his profession, his patients and the people he works with. I'd also like to mention 4 additional people at Galleria Dentistry that have been exceptional and made a big difference for me. I'm extremely appreciative of all that Annette, Kelli, Kori and Lisette have done, and I'd like to say a special thank you to them. They are each so highly qualified and outstanding at what they do, and are also genuinely super nice and caring people. Annette is definitely the world champion of dental X-rays, she broke the record for the absolute best, fastest and totally painless dental X-rays ever!!!! Quite impressive!! And Annette totally put me at ease doing all that she does while working with Dr. Benza. Lisette is an amazing hygienist, very experienced and thorough while also being very gentle. My dental issues require frequent appointments with the Hygienist to closely follow any changes. Lisette is one of the best Hygienists I have ever met. Kori and Kelli are both terrific, and have been very helpful on so many phone calls. They are so good at all that they do, juggling many priorities at the same time. They both have the ability and the experience that they know how to coordinate and make things happen the way they're supposed to. If you're a nervous or anxious dental patient and have a fear of going to the dentist, I can say with confidence, this is definitely the place for you!!! Dr. Benza and the wonderful team at The Galleria Dentistry go out of there way to help put you at ease and make you feel welcome! As a side note, they also have the best dental chairs ever, super comfortable!! This review is crazy long, but I know how difficult the search is to find a great dentist, and I hope this info is helpful! If you're looking for a highly qualified dentist with high integrity, in a well run practice full of very qualified (and nice!!) people that also know what they're doing, I highly recommend Dr. Benza and The Galleria Dentistry!

I can't say enough about the quality and care we have received since finding Galleria a few years ago. A mutual friend recommended Dr. Gerry to us because we needed to have emergency work done and were here for the season. We now use Galleria for all of our dental needs.

I broke a crown while on vacation and received a recommendation to this office. I knew I'd need a replacement crown before we returned home. After my initial consultation I knew I had come to the right place. From the kind receptionist to the professional and caring dental assistant, Jackie. I was impressed! Then I met Dr Chelsea Benza - who took the time to thoroughly evaluate the broken crown - suggest options and possible outcomes - I was put at ease that this just wasn't your average dental office. They went above and beyond at every step. The day of the appointment - my "numbing" concerns were addressed (I require a bit more time and medication) and during the lengthy appointment I was always made to feel comfortable. Thank you to the staff at Galleria Dentistry for making me feel welcome! The office was beautiful - and extremely clean. The staff was very conscientious.

I've had some wonderful dentists over the years, but these people surpass everyone---especially in the time they take to explain things and to address my concerns, beginning with an actual interview on my first visit! Dr. Anthony Benza, with his assistant, Anette, replaced 2 fillings and placed a new crown (the permanent crown) in my visit yesterday and I was out of the office in less than 3 hours! I've so much appreciated their services, which included a great cleaning by Lisette (on my first visit), who even convinced me on the importance of flossing; I then went out and bought a water-pik, altho it doesn't replace flossing.

I had a problem in 2017. Being a seasonal resident, I had no dentist. I did have a surgeon who wonderfully repaired a skin cancer on my face. It occurred to me that he would know a great dentist since he was routinely doing face lifts. He recommended Galleria. His recommendation was spot on. Dr. Chelsea Benza took care of me. I needed a root canal and a cap. She referred me to a great endodontist who took care of me, with zero pain no less. Then she did a wonderful job with the cap. This year I needed another cap. She again took care of me. It was a flawless job. They will do the best work you could ever find.
