Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I have lived all over the country and have been to numerous dentists. I have had A LOT of work done with so many different dentists. My experience at Gallatin Smiles was phenomenal. Dr. Patrick Cosby easily is the best dentist I've ever been to. 10 out of 10. Of all the places, I didn't expect Gallatin, TN, to be my best experience. I know I'm just some guy on the internet, but I will gladly and happily vouch for this office. Stellar help and care.

In all my years of going to the dentist twice a year, I've never had a dentist office refuse a basic cleaning because I wouldn't agree to their up-charge deep cleaning. It's hard for me to understand how doing a basic cleaning could make things WORSE, but that's basically the argument they tried to make. I felt like I was buying a timeshare or a used car instead of a teeth cleaning. When you meet with the finance person before you get a cleaning, you know what the priorities of the business really are. Very disappointing.

I had to leave my dentist of 25 years because they quit taking my insurance. I was nervous about the switch, but Gallatin Smiles Dentistry made it easy and it felt like family.

Amazing atmosphere! I know this sound silly but growing up I always feared dentist. And even up til recent. I had a hard time figuring out where I wanted to go. Choosing Dr Cosby has been the best decision ever. I'm in the process of my dental implants. Not only did they offer me the best option. THEY GAVE ME OPTIONS. and helped guide me in the right choice. All the staff is precious and so kind.

If you would like to have a crown fall out 6 months later, this is the practice for you. I showed some friends that I know that are dentists in another state the X-ray taken after the crown was put back in to assess why it fell out; my friends were stunned by how horrible it looked. They advised that I find a new dentist. Be warned, when your dental work is shoddy and you schedule with another one of the Smiles locations to fix it, they do not honor the warranty of another location. I will say the other location took pity on the terrible work that was done and at least gave me a discount. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Payments were discussed prior to anything being done. They explained what I needed done as well as payment options. I was able to have a wisdom tooth removed the day of my visit. Overall, a great place especially for those without insurance.

They bare with me I got an appointment and my crown didn't work the first time and they were soo gladly to make another one till I leave happy the place Let me tell tell you it took time because the crown it has ti be made in house But it worked ! the wait soo happy Very very friendly staff I don't have negativity about this place Thanks for the hard work tho!

I had to have a crown and root canal done and this office went above and beyond to take care of me. I have recommended this office to all of my friends and family members. I will definitely be a long time patient here.

I had went there already having a fear of the dentist and I only needed a filling and the doctor while numbing hit a nerve in my cheek multiple times even after I told him he was hurting me then after he didn't even check to see if I was numb and just went in and I pulled away because of the pain I was in because I wasn't numb and he kept trying to force his hand in my mouth and fill the cavity when I told him I wasn't numb he just ignored me and and kept trying to push the drill in my mouth I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST they have made my fear even worse

I don't usually write reviews about such things but I just have to say that my experience with Gallatin Smiles has been exceptional. When I moved to the area in 2017 I really didn't want to hunt for a new dentist. The office I used to visit in another state was fantastic and I just didn't think I would be lucky enough to find another as good. Well I am happy to say that I have. Gallatin Smiles has exceeded my expectations. Everyone there is polite and professional. Jess does the xrays and sets the tone for the cleaning and exam. She has always been upbeat and professional. The rest of the experience continues to impress from there. Dr. Cosby has taken great care when I had a broken tooth which needed a crown. I am completely satisfied. If you are looking for a new dentist I highly recommend you call them, you won't regret it!

I had a tooth that broke. Nerves were exposed and I'm in bad pain, yes still because they did nothing. I knew my tooth needed to be pulled. I asked what my options were. Instead of them telling me while I was there, they said they would email me my options! My tooth is still broken, nerves still exposed, no email of options and visit was 3 days ago and I'm in pain..I told the dentist I had been using ibuprofen and it wasn't working. This office obviously doesn't care about their patience and do anything to get more money. It could have been discussed in the office what my options were but instead I still have no options or results and I paid these people. Unless you need basic cleaning, because I'm sure they can do that, anyone can do that, Seek another dentist!

I have been treated so well at Gallatin Smiles (also at the Hendersonville and Mt. Juliet locations). Personally, they have taken care of all my needs and done an excellent job at an affordable price. This is why I referred my 80+ year old grandmother to go here. She had oral surgery and there were some complications. GS was VERY understanding, and patient in working with her. They allowed me to be with her and encouraged me to be a liaison for her, two years ago. I called yesterday (Monday at lunch) for a dental emergency for my grandmother where she had broken a tooth. They fit us in that afternoon around my work schedule so I could be with her. They took x-rays and the doc spoke with us about the options. He let me explain this to my grandmother in a way she would understand, not interrupting, and adding little things here and there. He presented options that she might like that were better for her, and not necessarily "good business" because it was better for the patient and her well-being, which was the option she chose. Knowing at check-in she was worried about how to pay for the emergency visit (very tight fixed income living alone) the staff made the decision to bless her with a free visit. You now have customers for life in my family after GS reached out in grace and blessed my grandmother. Thank you for always being friendly to us, but above all, customer-service centered.

A few days after my crown was put in I started having terrible pain in the area. Patrick Cosby took time out of his day to fit me in and fix my issue. The whole staff is friendly and caring and I will not go to another dentist office. 5 stars isn't enough
