Michael N. Fogge, DDS, MS is a New England native who received his doctorate from Columbia University in New York before completing specialist training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the#1-ranked University of Michigan.
During his academic career, Dr. Fogge has been the recipient of numerous honors including the Rackham Merit Award and Lyons Endowed Orthodontic Fellowship. He has also been named a Margaret E. Mahoney Fellow at the New York Academy of Medicine for his work in community oral health. Dr. Fogges clinical experience includes his time on the Craniofacial team at Mott Childrens Hospital in Ann Arbor, where he developed expertise treating cleft lip and palate patients and trained extensively in the field of surgical orthodontics. His research in tissue engineering and skeletal biology has been published and presented at symposiums across the country.
Dr. Fogge specializes in both clear aligners (Invisalign) as well as traditional braces and welcomes patients of all ages. As an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, he is committed to providing excellence in patient care. He believes strongly in a personalized approach to orthodontics and working individually with you and your family to provide the ideal treatment customized to your needs.
Outside of the office, Dr. Fogge is a fitness enthusiast and an avid home cook with an affinity for French and Japanese cuisines. He is passionate about improving oral health and creating beautiful smiles that will last a lifetime, and he cant wait to welcome you to Gales Ferry Orthodontics!
As an orthodontic assistant, Jenenjoys getting to know each and every one of our patients and making each orthodontic visit a great one. She has over20 years of dental experience, 15of them have been in Orthodontics. In addition, Jen iscertified in dental radiology and CPR. In her free time, sheenjoys spending time with herhusband, Jim, and theirtwo dogs Tug and Chowder, andshealso enjoys riding and showing herhorse, Hugh.
As a Scheduling Coordinator, Robinlooks forward to being the first person to greet you at Gales Ferry Orthodontics. Her goal is to make your experience fun and informative from the start. Robin has been in the dental field since 1987 and began her careerby participating in the Red Cross Dental Assisting Program. Shehas over 30 years of orthodontic assisting experience and she iscertified in CPR and dental radiology. In herspare time sheenjoys jet skiing, traveling, and spending time with herhusband,Michael, and son, Thomas.

My son's experience here was great! The staff was remarkable. The ease of scheduling appointments to having braces adjusted, all the staff was phenomenal. I shopped around & got quotes from three different orthodontists. I decided on them for their honesty in the treatment plan as well as the affordability. I would highly recommend Gales Ferry Orthodontics for your care no matter your age.

I feel like everyone at this office genuinely cared about my treatment. They took the time to make sure I was making progress at every appointment and always got me in ASAP when I needed to be seen. Really happy with the results.

Tomorrow my braces come off! And my co-worker is scheduled to have braces put on her child. Gales Ferry Orthodontics, in fact, takes care of several of my co-workers' family ortho needs. Dr. Chen and his staff is extremely knowledgeable with a down to earth bedside manner that makes the transformation of a beautiful smile worth the time and expense. Satisfaction guarenteed!

I went to doctor Chen in October of 2017 with very crowded teeth. A couple of months later I got engaged and had a crazy deadline for him to meet. Not only did doctor Chen make my teeth look so straight and beautiful but he did it in a very short time. I highly recommend this orthodontist group. The entire practice is very friendly and I was not disappointed with a single visit. Also very affordable

Dr. Chen and his staff are excellent working with children. When massive teeth alignment was caught early on my 10 year old they worked quickly to prevent tooth loss. My son has a sensory disorder and they have been caring and patient with him during treatment and exams. Our family highly recommends Gales Ferry Orthodontics.

My daughter got her braces here and we love this place! The staff is friendly and extremely dedicated to their patients, and the doctors have helped put her at ease during the nerve-racking process. They truly take the time and effort to make sure all of her teeth are in place, including the back ones, which many of my friends' orthodontists neglected. Teens usually hate orthodontists but my daughter LOVES hers and they get along incredibly well! Her teeth look beautiful so love love love this place!
