Member of the American Dental Association and the Hawaii Dental Association. She is a 2001 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. Following graduation in 2001, Dr. Marana was commissioned by the Army and began her career as a Dental Officer in Fort Benning, Georgia. Dr. Marana moved to Hawaii in 2005 and was a civilian contract Dentist at Schofield Barracks for 5 years. She opened her private practice, Pearl Kai Dentistry / Gale Marana DDS located in Pearl Kai Shopping Center in 2010.
Dr. Marana treats all of her patients as her own Ohana, and believes well informed patients make the best decisions. She continually updates her training with continuing education courses and seminars to remain current with new dental procedures, and the science and technology of modern dentistry.

Dear Doctor Marana, I'm writing this to "Thank You" for practicing what you say, "I treat my patients the way, I would treat myself and family". My husband and I have been your patients since 2013. And let me tell you, we have yet to complain about you or your practice. #1) Your office, specially the bathroom is so clean and well stocked. #2) Your staff are well trained to uphold the highest standard in infection control. #3) Inform your patients about cost of treatment and options before proceeding. #4) Follow up calls after major procedures. #5) And most of all, the balance of your skill, talent, knowledge and compassion makes you the best dentist in our book. I can't believe I'm the first to review Dr. Marana but if you like Courteous & Friendly Dental Service then this is the place for you! I've been with Pearl Kai Dentistry since they opened and have gotten First Class treatment. From Dr. Marana's in dept personal care and in site to what is best for you, to the Dental Assistants who are the nicest Tech around. You will like the Text Message Appointment Notifications, convenient hours, plenty of parking and cozy office. I've been to plenty of Dentist Offices and Dr. Marana's Office is the Best by far!
