Aida M. Galan DMD was born and raised in the Republic of Panama. With over 20 years of experience in the dental field, one can say Dr. Galan has practically dedicated her life to dentistry. Dr. Galan began her career in dentistry in 1989 and worked hard to put herself through school until she graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine in May of 2002. Dr. Galan takes continuous educational courses to keep herself at par with the ongoing developments in the field of Dentistry. One of her goals is to enhance peoples lives by creating beautiful smiles through proper coaching and in the most conservative and affordable way. She believes that this in turn will help her patients regain control of their oral health, as well as, increase their confidence and self-esteem.
Dr. Galan has been very dedicated to providing dental care for children early in her career. She was awarded for her leadership in community service for children while pursuing dental school. A mother today, Dr. Galan understands the patience that is required to interact with children and most importantly, to teach them good oral habits at an early age. Her love for children has led her to expand dental services to them by providing early interceptive orthodontics.
Dr. Galan has been involved in many community services and has volunteered in many programs such as Dentist with a Heart, Special Olympics, and others. Her love and passion for dentistry has taken her abroad to countries in order to provide dental services to patients who have no means of getting dental treatment.
Closer to the home she has worked as a dentist for non-profit organizations such as The Health Trust and Tri-city Health Center, where she provided dentistry to the underserved communities. At the Health Trust, where she worked for over 2 years, she focused on children from the ages of 0-18 years of age. Today, she is a respected member of her profession and plays an active role in providing dental services to the community. Dr. Galan is a member of the American and California Dental Associations as well as the Santa Clara County Dental Society.

It pains me deeply to write this review. The staff is good but they are not taking appropriate security measures to protect your health information. They sent me another patient's details when I asked for my EOB and that is such gross neglience. I would stay away from this practice since they are not taking care of your personal information and are in violation of HIPAA compliance. They called me and tried to convey that it was a mistake of their third party provider but that doesn't clear them of blame. As a medical practice, it is their duty to make sure their third party vendors are taking appropriate measures when handling their patient information.

Dr. Galan & staff was extremely sweet. The consultation was informative & my tongue tie release surgery went well. The pain level was a 1. I instantly felt my tongue become stronger during the procedure. 10/10 would recommend

Dr. Glan is very experienced. Her staffs are very friendly and professional. I had a grinding issue that was not noticed for a long time ans Dr. Glan pointed it out and planed out the treatment plan. Her work for filling is fantastic! I will highly recommend her !

Gracie did a great job teaching & guiding me on how to brush & floss correctly. Office staff is incredibly easy to talk to and very professional. What I love about Galan Dental is that they educate, consult, and do very thorough work. I was very thankful that they helped adjust my fillings after the initial appointment and were fantastic about referring out to other providers for optimal results and to support holistic health. Dr Galan has been our family dentist for 10 years and we love her! She is attentive, remembers our issues and even details about our life. She has a great sense of humor and, most importantly, she is an excellent dentist. She keeps up-to-date on the newest medical technology and does her utmost to ensure the best preventive care for her patients. She always answers questions thoroughly and is willing to explain her procedures. The hygienists in her office are very professional, helpful and friendly.

Everyone here is so nice and so much fun to be around. The energy you get from each individual is second to none. Aside from that, the questions that i frequently have are always answered. It's not always a typical answer either, they tell you in a way the information sticks. Dr. Galan is also the best! Incredibly kind, and has unmatched energy! Best doctor in the game.

I've always have bad experiences with dentist growing up and I was hesitant to go to one. My coworker recommended Galan dental. Dr. Galan and her staff are really nice and very accommodating. They actually listen to my concerns about my teeth. I highly recommend Galan dental. I'm really glad to be to find a dentist I can go to from now on!

I am getting great dental care and holistic care from Dr. Galan and her team. I used to hate going to the dentist but in recent years it's no big deal, because they have got my teeth and gums in such great shape and I just need the regular cleanings.
