Phenomenal experience! Everyone from the front desk to the assistant and the Dentist was outstanding! I was scared to go to the dentist previously and waited 10+ years. I am so glad I entrusted my care to them. It was quality work and it was affordable even though I don't have dental insurance! Don't wait like me, visit them!

I had a very successful experience with Dr. Chan and his staff while wearing Invisalign. I am so happy with my new smile. I was seen every 3 months for additional cleaning and every 6 to 8 weeks to pick up new aligners and be examined by Dr. Chan. I must say, Dr. Chan was very meticulous and made sure that I was comfortable with the process and that my teeth were adjusting properly. He called after hours when I initially started wearing my aligners just to make sure I was comfortable. He explained the process of the attachments and buttons and made sure the rubber bands had the right tension for my one stubborn tooth. He scanned my teeth as needed due that stubborn tooth that was not cooperating to ensure my aligners fit correctly. I am so amazed that my stubborn tooth is as straight as the others. He was always available for me to call if I had questions. If braces are in your future, I would recommend getting Invisalign from Dr. Chan and his staff who are amazing. They are always happy to see you and there to assist in any way. Thanks for a well done job. C.Clayton

Dr. Chan is very meticulous and explains the procedures in great detail. His office staff is very friendly and he is by far the best dentist I have had. He is worth the drive. I live 35 miles away!

Dr Chan is an amazing considerate, professional doctor that always find time for his patients. When you come to the office you immediate feel at home. The staff and the doctor are very knowledgeable and you are being treated with respect and professionalism. I've been in this office for 30 years and I wouldn't change Dr. Chan for any other dentist.

I've been going to Gaithersburg Dental Care for a very long time now! Dr. Chan is the best dentist that has worked on my teeth! He has gentle hands and always gives good explanation of any work or procedure that needs to be done. He also gives a little warning in anticipation of the next step he is about to do. His dental hygienists have all been (are) very friendly and kind. His front desk staff are always professional and nice. I don't ever recall having to wait a long time from my appointed time. I'll be going to Dr. Chan until he retires someday and I hope that won't be for a long time yet!

I have been a patient at Gaithersburg Dental Care since 1988. Back then I had a number of dental issues. The biggest issue was trusting dentists. I had a number of dentists in the past who seemed to be quite judgmental, unconcerned with the anxiety I was feeling, and other dental concerns. I came across Dr. Chan at Gaithersburg Dental Care way back then. He was a young dentists at the time. We got along well at the very start. He was quite different in his approach. An approach that was inviting, understanding, and care for those he provided dental service. I had many dental problems and his approach to care was timely and we dealt with the problems one by one. One of the biggest problems was the need for implants. I got the implants with no issues and with the greatest dental care I have ever expected. Imagine that. This was many years ago and they are still my best teeth. Dr Chan and his staff expects the best for the patients. Thank you Gaithersburg Dental Care for being a special part of my dental health. So, my friends go to Gaithersburg Dental Care for the best dentistry for yourself and your family.

I love Dr. chan and everyone at Gaithersburg dental care. They are so nice. I have had a bad experience with other dentists and stopped going to dentists because of that. Then I was introduced to Dr. Chan and I love going. They treat you well. I've never had any pain. They talk to you and go over what they are going to do before they do it. They always ask if you have any pain. I love all of them. They always greet you with a smile.they work with you. I highly recommend them to anyone. I don't mind driving an hour to go to a dentist That I love and trust to do my teeth. I have had a lot of work done to keep my smile. I use to hide that smile due to bad teeth but not anymore. I have been going here for a few years now and will continue to go.Thank you Dr. Chan and all of the staff here at Gaithersburg dental care.

Dr. Chan and his team are excellent! My experience with Gaithersburg Dental Care exceeds my previous 60 + years of care. The Team is very friendly and helped me develop an excellent plan for oral health. When issues arise, Dr. Chan explains all possible options so that the patient has a high degree of comfort with final decisions. Prices are quite reasonable.

I've been going to Dr. Chan for the last few years. The office is always very clean, they run on time, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure patient comfort. During my last visit, Suzie helped ease my anxiety by quietly observing and making small, but meaningful, adjustments for me throughout the 1.5 hour appointment. I greatly appreciated her attentiveness and her light, positive attitude.

At the beginning of the year, all three of my family members needed better dental care urgently due to the unique conditions each of us were experiencing. For me, I had a failed implant installed by another dentist years ago and it was really bothering me, and for my wife and daughter, they needed to straighten their teeth. So, we switched to Dr. Chan at that time after hearing great things about him. Dr. Chan examined each of us carefully and came to the right diagnosis and went over the procedures in details with us. It's been long processes and the progress has been excellent. Dr. Chan is such a perfectionist and just wanted to make sure our smile looks perfect. He is very meticulous, and the results are so beautiful. The staff members (Katherin, Suzy, and Jennifer) are all very friendly, professional and helpful. Dr. Chan is the best dentist we have ever had. Will stay with him as long as we can!!

I am updating my review below now that I am all done with my treatment. I wish I could give Dr. Chan more than five stars because I am happy beyond belief with my results! The entire invisalign process went very smoothly, correcting my bite so that it is perfect. And my veneers are perfect as well! I have gotten so many compliments! Not only that, but the retainer I wear at night now (instead of a mouth guard) is very comfortable and was designed to deal with my nighttime clenching. Dr. Chan has many years of experience working with invisalign and doing veneers, and he is indeed a perfectionist. I highly recommend you see him if you need to correct your bite, or just want a more beautiful smile. You won't be sorry! I went to see Dr. Chan for a second opinion about my front teeth that were damaged due to my bite continuously changing. He recommended I do invisalign to correct my bite so the front teeth no longer hit and to fix many other issues with my teeth (the lower ones are crooked and inconsistent in height, for example) before repairing the broken teeth. Repairing the damaged teeth with crowns as my original dentist suggested would not solve the problem and I would probably end up damaging some teeth again. I agreed to do the invisalign. I have been to the office a few times for the upfront procedures including xrays and pictures etc., and I got my first set of aligners yesterday. I can't say enough good, positive things about Dr. Chan and his entire staff. He takes time to speak with me on each visit and answers all of my questions. I can tell that he is a perfectionist and I know my teeth will look amazing when he is done. I also can't say enough about how friendly, knowledgable and helpful Maria, the dental assistant, is. And the rest of the staff are also so pleasant. I highly recommend this practice.
