Dr. Rama Goswami received her undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts with honors) in May 1995 from University of Virginia located in scenic Charlottesville, Virginia. She then received her undergraduate dental training (Doctor of Dental Surgery) at Medical College of Virginia (Virginia Commonwealth University), School of Dentistry. In an effort to provide the highest quality of care to her patients, she enrolled in a residency program at University of Maryland, School of Dentistry, which provided advanced training in general dentistry. She completed the residency training in Advanced General Dentistry in the June 2001 and has been in private practice since. After working as an associate for eight years in private practices in Richmond and Charlottesville, she made the decision to go into practice with her sister, Dr. Rashmi Goswami in Gainesville, Virginia.
Dr. Rashmi Goswami attended Virginia Tech for her undergraduate education. She graduated from the Medical College of Virginia, School Of Dentistry (Virginia Commonwealth University), Richmond VA in the year 2000. She has also completed a one year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from University of Maryland at Baltimore. Since the residency, she has been in private practice in Maryland and Virginia. Her recent experience has been in treating children ages three to eighteen. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Virginia Dental Association.To keep abreast with the latest developments in Dentistry, she had taken numerous continuing education courses.

I hesitate to share this because when more people learn about this dental office, I'll have a much harder time getting an appt. Dr. Goswami is amazing in every way. Impeccable work and it is done in a most kind, compassionate way. I have significant dental fear, but through her compassionate care, I actually don't delay necessary work any more out of fear. In all seriousness, I do not even feel the shot because she is so gentle. My family member started going here and has had the same experience.

Cannot recommend Gainesville Family Dentistry highly enough! Their customer service and professionalism made this practice my dental care provider even after I moved to Falls Church. Billing practices are transparent and easy. Love this place.

Dr. Rashmi Goswami is by far my favorite dentist! She always makes sure that you are 100% comfortable before beginning any procedure. In the past, getting dental work used to give me a lot of anxiety and Dr. Goswami has helped me overcome this feeling by being so gentle and making sure I was not feeling any discomfort. I am so glad I found her; my son also has a very positive experience every time he visits Dr. Goswami! Erica at the front desk is very helpful and accommodating when scheduling appointments, great customer service!

This is a really good Team of Dentists, a true hidden gem. They're 100% honest and will not push you into unnecessary unethical procedures. They will also try to avoid any crowns made in China, and only use domestic products. Both dentists are active in the ADA community and understand the current nuances. They are not pushy and have very personalized service. I am known by my first name basis by both dentists. They also have a $50 referral bonus. The finest I have ever seen.

Dr. Rama Goswami is one of the nicest, most dedicated dentists I have ever met. The entire practice works hard to make sure scheduling and pricing can work for you, and they make sure you walk out with a positive experience. I'd like to give a special shout out to Dr. Goswami and her team because I was recently misdiagnosed by an urgent care doctor. I was told I was experiencing TMJ, but I visited Dr. Goswami and she correctly identified that I was actually having a recurrence of tonsillitis! She also listened to questions about my boyfriend and said he needed to go to the doctor because she suspected he had an ear infection, and she was right! I cannot say enough good things about Gainesville Family Dentistry.

I have a large family and they have taken care of all us, down to our five year old. If you need a filling, have no fear, because the dentist is amazing with the numbing process. Our little one had no idea there was a needle at all. Look no further, trust this practice!
