Dr. Ames grew up in Liburn, Georgia, and attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He worked as a technology consultant in Atlanta for several years prior to dental school at the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Ames made the commitment to develop his skills and knowledge further by completing two additional years of training in the endodontic residency program at the Medical College of Georgia.

Dr. Ames is a clinical assistant professor at the Dental College of Georgia in the endodontic department. He is an active member of the Forsyth County Rotary Club, Georgia Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Hinman Dental Society.

Dr. Daniel Garabadian is a native of South Carolina. He attended Clemson University and Wheaton College for his undergraduate studies and received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He continued his studies at the University of Washington where he received his endodontic specialty training.

In 1999, Dr. Garabadian opened North Atlanta Endodontic Specialists in Cumming, Georgia. He has served as an officer of the Georgia Association of Endodontists for four years, and served as president in 2008/09.

Dr. Garabadian lives in Alpharetta with his wife Renaye and their three children. When he is not in the office, he is spending time with his family at their many activities. He likes to cook, collect wine, woodwork, travel, and golf.

Dr. Susie Koagel grew up in a military family and lived in North Carolina, Korea, Japan, and Alabama. She attended college at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following her fathers footsteps, who had served more than 20 years in the Army as a helicopter pilot, Dr. Koagel was commissioned in the US Army. She attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry and received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.

After obtaining her dental degree, Dr. Koagel completed a one-year advanced general dental residency at Ft. Lewis, Washington, where she realized her love for endodontics. She completed her endodontic specialty training at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She was then stationed at Ft. Bliss, Texas and Ft. Benning, Georgia. After ten years in the active Army, Susie transitioned to serve part time as a Major in the Georgia National Guard.

Susie along with her husband and her three children are pleased to have made Georgia their home. When she is not practicing endodontics, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.

Dr. Lisa Selem originates from Lawrenceville, Georgia. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Selem attended the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where she received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and graduated with honors. She then practiced general dentistry for two years in the Atlanta area but ultimately decided that endodontics was her calling.

Dr. Selem completed her specialty training in endodontics from Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Georgia. Her research on endodontic filling materials has been published in the Journal of Endodontics, on which she has served on the Scientific Advisory Board, and the Journal of Dentistry.

Dr. Selem is dedicated to providing the highest quality endodontic treatment while focusing on alleviating her patients pain and fear. After practicing endodontics in Houston for the past several years, she is pleased to return home to Georgia along with her husband Alex and their two young sons Cameron and Elliott.

I was referred here to get a root canal done because my case was extremely difficult. Dr. Dahl was the endodontist I saw, and he was amazing! My mouth was the numbest it's ever been, and I even fell asleep during the procedure!!! I usually have bad anxiety at the dentist, but Dr. Dahl was great!! He seemed super knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions, especially because my case was tricky. I actually was told to come here by a friend and paid out of pocket and I would pay it all over again and then some. I just wanted my tooth fixed right, and I wanted it done right the first time. I would STRONGLY recommend Dr. Dahl to any and everyone who needs an endodontist. P.S. As a budding ornithologist, it was crazy how good he was at bird calls!

The staff and Dr Dahl took great care of me. They have the latest equipment, and I was comfortable the entire time. I'm amazed that he found all 6 roots and left post space in all of them to help my dentist save my tooth.

The patient's name is Anne Becking not Fred. I almost wish my problem could have been solved by Jason Ames but not so. I have to seek additional help elsewhere thanks to him. I now know it's not root canal problem but an abscess.

Greeted by front office staff they were very nice and helpful in filling out paperwork. The wait was short. I got called back early. Dr. Ames and his assistant were very professional. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The procedure went great I didn't feel any pain. If I have to have another root canal I will use this office...

This was my second root canal but first experience at this office, this was a completely different experience than my first one. Charged me way less, the doctor and nurses are kind and personable. He explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable before during and after procedure. Even the procedure itself went much smoother/ comfortably than my last one. I was even given post op medications prescribed where as my previous endo sent me home with nothing *cough* Fleming endo *cough* 10/10 will come back if I'm ever in a dental pickle again!

Dr Ames is truly amazing he has the best bedside manner of any dentist I've ever been to - I'm 61 so that's a lot of dentists. His office staff are so friendly, helpful and accommodating- I love them. His assistant Safari took excellent care of me and they performed the root canal in just 30 minutes. If you must have a root canal then Dr Ames is the best!! Thank you Dr Ames and thank your entire team!!!
