With a dynamic and outgoing personality, Maria Abboud, DMD excels in patient communication and comfort. Dr. Abboud is fluent in English, French, and Arabic, a has conversational skills in Spanishallowing her to serve patients from a variety of backgrounds. As a graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, Florida, Dr. Abboud is highly-trained in general dentistry services, including surgical extractions, restorations, fixed and removable prosthodontics, endodontics, root canals, and treatment planning. She is a current member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the West Coast Dental Association.

First told me they don't take my insurance they wanted cash. I called prior to the appt after reading feedback that this is a common tactic at this clinic. They checked and double checked and confirmed they take Delta. On the visit day a week later magically they don't. As for the filling Dr. Patel was pushing for doing the filling without numbing first and seemed rushed. No one in life has ever asked not to be numb before drilling. Cheap and rushed. Please avoid.

My experience with GDA has been very pleasant. From the moment of walking in, to X-rays, hygienist, and the doctor. Everyone made me feel so comfortable especially Tyra and Ashton! Thank you everyone!

10 stars for the dentist who had pulled my tooth. She had worked on it for 2 1/2 hours. She was bound and determined to win the fight. She was gentle and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend dental associates to anyone who needs dentist. Thank you

Everyone is very friendly and very competent. I've found the prices here are much better than at my previous dentist's. The hygienist at my last appointment was the best I've ever had.

The staff was wonderful and kind. I felt like I was being treated by older sisters And they were especially knowledgeable and willing to answer my nosy questions about the new technology, as I haven't been to a dentist in a long time. Would absolutely recommend these lovely people.

Just got my permanent gold crown on the 1st. It fits and feels great! I love the humor you guys have- "You're getting that purple crown; it's ready now." LOL!!! Great visit for a cleaning yesterday. Ashton was thorough and very kind. God bless, Dave Hall

Entire office staff is friendly and honest. Instantly made me feel at ease. Dr Abboud and Cassy treat their patients like family. I trust they only do what's necessary for great oral health.

I was very impressed with Dr. Aboud and her staff. The practice is immaculate and we'll designed. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. They infused patient education in the care given. Update: 8.9.21 Another good visit. The hygienist was knowledgeable and encouraging. The visit didn't hurt at all. Really! Office staff were helpful and patient. Covid protocols were followed and it felt very safe. I highly recommend this practice. Update:2.16.2022 Great visit! I highly recommend Albert for hygienist. He is knowledgeable and professional. He keeps the atmosphere calm and relaxing. Albert is a wonderful hygienist. He is calm, professional, really smart. Albert sees multiple members of my family. I appreciate the soft lighting and restful atmosphere in his space.

New patients are forced to have two apts to get a simple cleaning. Dentist assessment in first apt, cleaning in second. National practice All phone arrangements done via central phone center, not locally. They called me day of apt to request I arrive hour earlier than my apt since they had cancellation. Upon arrival the local office was unaware. They were not friendly and keep referencing they had no control/knowledge of what central national center told me. Refused to do the cleaning which was all I needed/wanted. COVID intake non existent. No one asked if I was sick. No staff wearing masks for checking or doing X-ray. When I booked apt I asked if the had Covid precautions and they said yes The setup is to suggest a bunch of potential high cost work. Standard practice is to have dentist do inspection/ assessment AfTER cleaning. I left before seeing dentist. I wouldn't recommend this dental office to anyone.

Great service. The staff is friendly, kind and compassionate. My dental hygienist Albert immediately made me feel comfortable and made me feel I made the right choice going to Gainesville Dental Associates. With the proper advice, my gums and teeth made a significant improvement. Thank you - my dental health is grateful.
