Elias Tobon, DMD, is an experienced dentist with the team at Gables Family Dental, with locations in Coral Gables and Miami, Florida. Dr. Tobon is proud to provide gentle, family-oriented dental care with the utmost care and compassion to adults and children of his community. He combines the most up-to-date dental knowledge and cutting-edge technology to yield high-quality dental treatment for his patients.
Dr. Tobon is a native Colombian and he received his doctorate in dentistry at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. After graduating, he pursued advanced training in general dentistry at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
After his training, Dr. Tobon relocated to Miami and assumed a position as an Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University in Broward County, Florida. While there, he specialized in cosmetic dentistry treatments including fixed and removable prosthodontics.
Oscar Sanchez, DDS, is an experienced dentist with the team at Gables Family Dental, located in Miami and Coral Gables, Florida. He is dedicated to offering excellent professional dental service relating to each patient and their individual needs.
Dr. Sanchez was born in Cuba and moved with his family to the Bologna/Parna area of Italy when he was 12 years old. The following year, they moved to San Antonio, Texas. At the age of 18, Oscar joined the military, where he was an infantry and paratrooper soldier. Upon completion of his military service, Oscar moved to Miami, where he fell in love with the city and has remained here ever since. He received his bachelor's degree in biology from FIU and his dental degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Sanchez is passionate about functional dental aesthetics as well as helping patients improve their oral health to achieve a beautiful smile. He is dedicated to continuing his education through advanced training in cosmetic dentistry.
