Dr. Wayne Farrimond has extensive experience in many areas of general dentistry. Although accomplished in the most progressive dental procedures, he is a true believer in continuing education and stays current by participating in state-of-the-art training.

Dr. Farrimond has been a life-long resident of this area, establishing his practice more than 36 years ago in Schertz. He is a graduate of Trinity University andearned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degreefrom the University of Texas at Houston in 1982.After graduation, he returned to San Antonio to practice for ashort timealongside his father, Dr. Marvin Farrimond. With the opportunity to come to Schertz, Dr. Wayne Farrimond relocated and assumed the practice of Dr. Roy Richards.

Dr. Farrimondhas provided quality dentistry for his patients, caring for adults and children in his practice.He also has a commitment to provide the utmost in care for the elderly. His dedication to provide care for the aged takes him to many of the nursing homes in the area. Working closely with the families and caregivers has made a standard of care available to the eldery that otherwise might have been compromised dueto their limited mobility.

Dr. G. Wayne Farrimond has been a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio District Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistryfor 38 years. He recently was awarded the Good Fellow award by the Texas Dental Association for his participation over the last 38 years.

Sonja has been a familiar face inDr. Farrimond'spractice for 38 years. She has been a part of the team since Dr. Roy Richards was practicing at this location. Sonja has provided her expertise as a DentalAssistant as well as Scheduler andInsurance Coordinator. Sonja's role as Insurance Specialist and Patient Advocate has helped many of our patientsexperience the full benefitsoffered bytheir Insurance Carrier. Sonja has been married to Mark since 1991 and they have 1 son, Eric. Sonja enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and pool time.

Vanessa earned her dental assisting certification from Carrington College in Mesa, Arizona. in 2018 Vanessa joined the practice in our administrative area. Although you will see Vanessa's smiling face at the front of the office, she also coordinates Dr. Farrimond's nursing home visits, and is an advocate for treatment financing for our patients. Vanessa has two girls that love spots and the outdoors. In her spare time she love to spend time with her family and friends.

Dominique has been a Dental Assistant since 2013 and is a San Antonio native. She joined Dr.Farrimond'spractice in in 2018. She has always been interested in helping people and have a healthy and beautiful smile.Dominique want to helpDr.Farrimond create amazing dental experiences as well as help patients get over their dental fear. In her spare time, she enjoysspending time with her family and playing games along with cosplay.

Karla has been and dental assistantsince May 2019.She attended San Antonio Dental AssistantSchool and joinedDr.Farrimond'spractice in July 2019. She always been interested in helping people and have a healthy smile. Karla loves to travel and spend time with her family. She has 3 childrenthat keep her busy when shes not working. Karla always enjoyed going to the dentist and wants to helpDr.Farrimond create that same experiencefor all of our patients.

Ashley has been employed with Dr. Farrimond since 2014. She obtained her dental hygiene degree in 2012 from Texas State Technical College. Prior to receiving her degree, Ashley was a pediatric and orthodontic dental assistiant. She grew up in Harlington Texta and moved to Cibolo soon after graduating. She loves educating her patients on their oral health and believes creating a healthy oral environment leads to overall better health. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and going on vacations.
