I dont think I could have been happier in any other profession. As a dentist, my greatest joy is my contact with people and contributing to their health and their confidence in their appearance. Ive been a practicing dentist for more than 35years, and am now seeing a 2nd generation of patients from the same families who started with me. What an honor it is that they trust me to care not only for their own dental needs, but those of their children, as well.

I truly cherish the friendships and relationships that have grown between my patients and myself. They feel like an extension of my family and I look forward to their visits as a time to hear the latest news and share stories and laughter.

Every year I take multiple continuing education courses in oral healthcare. This allows me to learn about new technologies and stay abreast of advancements in the field. Ensuring that my patients have access to the widest range of proven treatment processes and care options is essential: they trust me to provide the best care possible, and continuing education provides that.

Ive lived in Salem my entire life, except when I was away at school. My wifes name is Cherry and I have a daughter, Dr. Wesley Anne, who is married to Dr. Kevin OBrien. They areboth dentists in the practice. Clark is my son, and we also have several beloved pets: Bridget, our dog, and Smokey, our cat. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my granddaughter Kate and the rest of my family. I also enjoy traveling, fishing, and golfing, and am an avid home cook, too.

Dentistry combines my love of science and art and allows me to form relationships with patients that extend beyond my practice. Working with my father and husband has allowed me to truly be part of a family practice, and I feel that camaraderie and atmostphere extends to our patients as well. I am a bit of a perfectionist, and while dentistry can be challenging in that aspect, it is a constant challenge and I enjoy striving for it in everything that I do.

I actively pursue education in the hopes of increasing my efficiency and skills in all manner of restorative dentistry, including taking CEREC classes. I am also working to expand and broaden my surgical skills beyond the routine and surgical extractions I already perform.

Born and raised in Salem, I am Dr. Sprinkle's daughter and Dr. Kevin O'Brien's wife. When I am not at work, I spend lots of time with my daughter Kate, and try to spend as much time outside as possible. I love gardening, hiking, fishing, and playing with my young daughter, dog and two cats. I am an animal lover and spent the summer after graduating from UVA working and playing in Yellowstone National Park.

I wake up every day looking forward to seeing each patient, new or established, and to the relationships I am building with them. Its great to meet the patients of Dr. Sprinkle and Dr. Young, whove been coming to the practice for many years, and I look forward to continuing these relationships, as well as building and conintuing new ones of my own.

I was inspired to enter the dental field by my father-in-law, Dr. G. Sprinkle. When I saw the happiness in his life, and how rewarding dentistry is for him, I knew it was the right choice for me. I am passionate about providing high quality oral healthcare services for my patients, and helping people in need.

I have actively participated in continuing education on topics ranging from implants to aesthetic dentistry. I also have trained in Invisalign and will continue to expand my knowledge in CEREC and implant dentistry. It is my goal to have as diverse an offering of services as possible, in order to properly meet the needs of my patients.

I was raised in Fairfax and moved to Salem in June 2014. However, Ive been dating my now-wife, Dr. Wesley Anne, since 2002, and shes the daughter of Dr. Sprinkle, so Ive been here quite often.Our home also includes my daughter Kate, our boston terrierBrick, and Hanna, our cat. Outside of work and being with family, I enjoy travel, hiking, and weightlifting.

Warm, friendly, and personable, Allison delivers thorough and gentle hygiene care to our patients. Like the rest of our team, shes passionate about oral health, as well as developing long-term relationships with our patients. Much of Allisons day is spent providing education, teaching patients how to keep their mouths in great condition between visits to our practice. Allisons been with our practice since 2001, so shes built many strong friendships with patients and their families. She looks forward to their visits and loves meeting new patients, too.

Focused on keeping our office running smoothly, from coordinating between the front and back offices to delivering chairside assistance, Dorothy is our exceptional office manager. She spends her days making sure were on track, so we can focus on whats important: providing personal, attentive service to each patient who comes to us for care. Dorothy is always available to help our patients and provide whatever guidance they request. She enjoys the conversations she has with our patients throughout the day and loves the friendships that result from those exchanges.

Marcies been working in the dental field since 1988, starting as a receptionist and then becoming a dental assistant. She excels at providing care to our patients, talking with them about various dental procedures and explaining what the doctor will be doing. Providing chairside assistance, Marcie helps our doctors as they tend to patients, and reviews post-op care with patients at the end of a treatment. She also sets-up and sterilizes rooms and instruments.

Marcie was raised in a military family and has a strong sense of honor and respect for everyone. She shares her life with two dogs and loves animals. A fan of ice hockey and football, Marcie also enjoys reading.

Rhonda enjoys meeting and getting know our patients. Shes been with our practice since 1986, so shes developed some wonderful relationships with many of the people we care for, and loves those friendships. As a hygienist, Rhonda cleans teeth and provides a variety of preventive care services to the patients, always focusing on education and finding the right home oral hygiene care solutions to each persons unique needs and lifestyle. She loves seeing healthy smiles when patients come in for their recall visits.

Lyndsaystarted with us after taking a break to have her first two children, Wyatt and Paisley, and has since had her third, Everleigh! She is hard working and always busy in our practice, working with our patients and assisting our doctors, but also working hard behind the scenes to make sure everything gets done.
