Have been going to Dr. Sheumaker over 30 years.. Had teeth cleaned today & got another good report. He is so honest and reasonable while being very personable & a great dentist! Definitely highly recommend!!

I am so thankful I went to Dr. Sheumaker! He was great! I had not been to the dentist in years, and another dentist told me about extensive work I needed done on my tooth and I left pretty scared, but Dr. Sheumaker looked when I went for a second opinion and told me different. I am so glad I went for a second opinion and have found a dentist I can trust! I left happy and relieved! Bendatu did my cleaning and was gentle and very good. Kept making sure I was okay, and was quick and thorough. Thank you so much Dr. Sheumaker's office! I am glad to be a new patient :)

By far the absolute best dental office in Lakeland! No nonsense or pushy sales tactics trying to sell you services you don't need. I've been looking for a place like this ever since my run in with Aspen Dental who sent me home with an $1,800 bill, very expensive bad tasting rinse and trust issues. Pretty scary outcome for someone who has never even had a cavity. You definitely won't have that problem here, though. The environment was comfortable and felt more like a visit with distant family than anything else. (I mean, if your family happened to perform routine oral cleaning and look at your mouth a lot.)

We have 5 in our family that all go to Dr. Sheumaker. All of the staff is so nice. Dr. Sheumaker is fantastic! I recently took my daughter to him after another dentist was telling me she had three cavities. Dr. Sheumaker showed me she actually didn't have one! Thank you, Dr. Sheumaker! We appreciate you!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are great at explaining the procedures and make the experience pleasant. No one wants their gums and teeth to be poked around or anything, but the dental hygienist made it go fast and easy for me.
