I became a dental assistant at the age of 19 years old and never looked back, says Shakira. I have always loved great smiles so a career in dentistry seemed just perfect for me. Over 20 years later, I know that I made a great decision because my career in dentistry has been fantastic! Certified in CPR and Radiology, Shakira works side by side with Dr. Green assisting with dental treatments, helps schedule patient treatment plans, handles lab cases, takes x-rays, and sterilizing instruments. What Shakira loves best about her job is caring for patients. Building relationships with patients is my greatest joy, she enthuses. I really enjoy coming to work every day. Working as a team, we are focused on building relationships and providing the highest quality care in a warm, comfortable environment. This separates Dr. Green from other dentists and really fuels my passion for what I do. It is a privilege to work alongside this doctor. In her free time, Shakira enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, party planning, cooking, and taking long walks on the beach. With over 25 years with Dr. Gary Green, Justine is not just an employee, she is a partner. As Office Manager, Justine is the first face of Dr. Greens dental practice. Justine keeps on top of the schedule, greets and schedules patients and manages everything in the office from patient records, to cost and inventory control. Justines creative flair is evident in everything she does whether its putting together gift baskets for a community event to making the office comfortable and cozy

After attending Kutztown State College (now Kutztown University), Justine graduated from Staffor Hall School of Business formerly in Summit, NJ in secretarial sciences. Justine is also an avid cross sticher, baseball fan, and mother of three young college men.

Dr. Green graduated with special distinction from the Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in 1979 and completed an advanced certification in prosthetic dentistry at New York University in 1988. He returned to New York University for a fellowship in implant dentistry in 1992, which he completed in 1994. The techniques presented in the fellowship were for those of advanced surgical placement of implants and bone grafting surgery. Dr. Green is a member of the AAID, one of the highest international organizations for skill in the surgery and restoration of dental implants, the most life-changing treatment that dentistry offers. He also holds membership in the ACP, recognizing a broad range of skills in dentistry that his post-graduate education provides for patient benefit.

Dr. Green has been helping patients eat comfortably and smile freely with dental implants since 1993. He has developed special methods of implant dentistry to rescue the denture patient, as well as those with debilitated teeth needing complete reconstructions. This, combined with advanced prosthetic techniques, allows even the most compromised individual to return to a life of enjoying great dental health. All treatment is performed in the same office.

Dr. Gary Green teaches other dentists the art and science of dental implants and implants cosmetics so that his methods can help other Essex/Morris/Passaic county residents outside of his own practice. He has taught dental implant and restoration coursesand is a former faculty member at the NYU School of Dentistry.
