Dr. Hoda Bassiri first developed a passion for dentistry while attending Cummings High School in Burlington, NC. She earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology, with a Minor in Chemistry, from the University of North Carolina, in Chapel Hill. Receiving the honor of Aubrey Lee Brooks Scholarship, she was able to study abroad in Rome, Italy, and additionally do two years of research in dental chemistry at UNC.
She wasted no time in pursuing her dreams after completing her undergraduate studies. With a full scholarship from the Board of Governors, Dr. Hoda Bassiri earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hoda Bassiris interest in developing her skills lead her to complete a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center. The residency proved to be vital in her understanding of, and ability to surgically place and restore, dental implants. Dr. Hoda Bassiri has continued to hone her skills as a general and cosmetic dentist by being an active member of American Dental Society, NC Dental Society, and Raleigh-Wake County Dental Society, and through continuing education in orthodontics, root canals, oral surgery, periodontal treatment, and prosthodontics.
Dr. Hoda Bassiris true passion for her profession is best seen when she is volunteering, donating countless hours to Wake Smiles Dental Clinic, in Raleigh, and Missions of Mercy free dental clinics, throughout the state of North Carolina, serving those in need who would be unable to afford dental care otherwise.
She strives to make her office unique by being a leader in customer service, and providing beautiful, lasting dentistry using only the most cutting-edge technology. Dr. Bassiris top priority is your comfort, and she finds it extremely rewarding to help patients become free of pain and any fears of dentistry.
She is also very involved in the dental community, educating and learning with other well-known dentists throughout the United States. She was the founder of a large group of 2500 dentists, called Dentists on Facebook, the CE Vendor Specialist at Dental Success Network, and the leader of a Spear Study Club.
When Dr. Bassiri is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping, cooking, dancing, going outdoors, swimming, playing soccer, and cherishing every moment of life with her husband and two wonderful boys, Kiyan & Ryaan.
Dr. Lana Doan is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina and a lifelong Tarheels fan. She attended undergraduate school at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, where she majored in Biology, and then continued her dental studies at UNC Adams School of Dentistry. Dr. Doan graduated dental school in 2012 with Honors, and has provided care to patients throughout the Triangle ever since.
Dr. Doan strongly believes in the value of continuing education, and takes annual hands-on training courses to learn new technology and techniques, constantly improving the patient experience. Dr. Doan is a member of the Raleigh-Wake County Dental Society and an Invisalign Certified provider. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but has a special passion for Cosmetic Dentistry and Pediatrics.

By far the best dental experience my wife and I have ever had, which is crazy because typically these words don't go together, best experience and dentist. Both my wife and I are in the middle of a pretty extensive treatment plan, and Dr Bassiri and her amazing staff not only have explained each procedure thoroughly, answered any questions, and helped remove any fears. I highly recommend sedation dentistry to all my friends because of Fusion. If I could give another star, I would. The best of the best.

If you are looking for an expert in dental care, please consider this practice. They are EXTREMELY professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. My smile never look this good! I never write reviews, but I know that it's hard to find a good dental practice, and I hope my review allows you to give Fusion Dental a try. I know you won't regret it.

This is my third visit to Fusion. While the staff is very, very friendly, my 7:30 appointments have been met with the office not opening on time and not being seen until almost 8 a.m. Each time I'm there, things seem to be a little chaotic and items that are needed cannot be found, adding to undue delay. Like I said, the folks here are extremely nice, and I will continue to go because of that, just make sure you plan to spend more time there than anticipated.

I always love coming here to get my eyes checked. The doctor is always so nice but keep it honest with me one the health of my eyes. This was my first time going to dental and it was the best experience I have ever had. They made sure that I knew what was going on and what the treatment plan was. Totally five stars.

The staff was very friendly and this was easily the best experience I had at a dentist. They were also helpful with breaking down the prices for their services and didn't pressure you into additional offerings. (They also don't shame you for not flossing. Sure, they make jokes, but they don't make you feel bad for being bad at flossing)

Dr. Bassiri is wonderful. I started going to Fusion for dental and eye care back in 2015 and really love the family atmosphere. You know you are being taken care of, along with the most up to date technology you'll find in the triangle. Can't recommend them enough!

Just had my first visit with Fusion Dental Care, and it was (as far as dental visits go) a very pleasant ,informative, and thorough one. Both Dr Bassiri and the hygienist were knowledgeable, friendly, and very good at explaining things clearly. Their full use of modern imaging techniques was very helpful and allowed for detailed discussion of some issues. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a good dental office.
