Dr. Glen Dean has practiced as a board certified pediatric dentist in Grand Junction since 1979. He loves working with children! In addition to a friendly smile, he offers moderate sedation dentistry and has a pediatric sedation permit. It is important that adults and children have a comfortable and positive experience during dental treatment. Dr. Dean enjoys the challenges and rewards of treating children with special needs and believes that education for parents and children will help kids enjoy a healthy smile for a lifetime.
Dr. Dean is bilingual in English and Spanish. He has traveled to Guatemala twice a year since 2009. He has a 7 chair portable dental clinic that he and his team use to care for some of the poorest children and adults in Guatemala.
Dr. Dean received his dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After a three-year tour of duty with the United States Air Force, he completed a two-year pediatric dentistry residency at Milwaukee Childrens Hospital and received his Masters in Pediatric Dentistry from Marquette University. Dr. Dean is also a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Dean opened Fun at the Dentist in 2012 to exclusively serve Medicaid patients through the Health First Colorado Insurance program. Fun at the Dentist has multiple dentists, which helps patients be seen more quickly.
Dr. Ford has practiced general dentistry in Grand Junction from 1975 until 1995 when he retired from private practice to begin a teaching career in dentistry. As an adjunct faculty member at the University of Colorado Dental Hygiene program at Rangely, CO, he taught both head and neck anatomy and dental materials. Dr. Ford also taught denture construction and wrote the state approved curriculum for accreditation requirements for a local dental technical training program. In 2006 he entered a one-year surgical externship program to further his knowledge and practice skills in clinical oral surgery and was awarded U.S. and foreign patents for dental surgical equipment. Dr. Ford has held surgical privileges at both St. Marys and Community Hospitals.
Dr. Ford currently owns James Laboratories, LLC, a removable dental prosthetics laboratory, located at the Health First Dental Care adult dental program and specializes in proprietary DNA/Stress Axis designed removable dental appliances.
A 1976 graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Dentistry, Dr. Andreoletti adamantly believes that patients needs are best met when the most proven techniques and materials are combined with the responsive and personal service that is often lacking today. His focus is on dentistry for adults, with a goal of achieving a high degree of dental health for his patients by helping them maintain their oral health while ensuring they get the smile they have always wanted.
Dr. Andreolettis philosophy toward the practice of dentistry is simple fix whats wrong and provide a proactive program of preventive treatment to minimize urgent dental needs. He has devoted hundreds of hours of continuing education to keep current with the latest technologies and best techniques, as well as basic patient care.
A member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society, Dr. Andreolettis time in the field of dentistry has allowed him to develop a patient care philosophy that is truly centered around the needs of the patient, not on the desires of the dentist. In order to ensure each patient receives the highest quality oral heath care he sees fewer patients than most so he can take the time to assess your needs and comfort, design an appropriate regimen of treatment, and provide comprehensive dentistry for a lifetime of good health. the staff was great but to have the dentist himself try and tell me how to raise my child was the most unprofessional thing i've ever experienced in a medical profession establishment..my kid is almost 14 years old and has been raised right and knows she needs to take care of her teeth..rather she does or not shouldn't matter to anyone outside my home..kids adults doesn't matter teeth get cavities regardless but to hold blame on the parent over it is inexcusable and unprofessional..there's a lot more to it that was said by him but anyone in my situation would've reacted and felt the same way..

Staff was super friendly hygienist was amazing but the one male dentist was extremely rude and had no excuse for the behavior he had. He has no bedside manner and told us we were a waste of his time.

I called on a Monday, got in Tuesday morning, and before I left, they had removed a wisdom tooth that was destroyed. I was beyond happy with the entire process, the dentist and all of the people I came into contact with at this office was amazing, and I am so happy with making my choice. I have more pain in my numb lip then I do in my tooth, and that's a win in my book! My anxiety was high, but they were amazing!

If you are like me and the word dentis makes your blood pressure rise ( and if your lucky not to be) This place is the best!From the very beginning from check-in they were wonderful my exam although not fun but at least not painful. They also took a lot of extra time with me and worked through my anxiety. During my procedure I was comfortable the whole time they did many tests to make sure that I was numb. They also did extra things to make me comfortable that we're just so above and beyond. This place was really unbelievable I haven't been to a dentist for two years because of complete and utter fear of trauma that I have had in the past from dentist but this place wow. If you have fear of a dentist and just need a little extra this is the place!!!

Three visits so far and the professionalism is top notch. The care is above the majority of the dentists I have been to in my whole life. The bedside manner is wonderful and a breath of fresh air. Every single person I have dealt with has been a great experience. They are quick and painless, for the most part. They numbed my mouth correctly the first time, every time. There was not a time when I had to ask them to numb my mouth more. They also take my insurance so thankfully I didn't need to go back to the other place any longer. They are thorough and they happily answered any questions I have had. I don't think there is much of a better experience out there with any other dentists. You are safe here.

This Dentist Office was Highly Recommended by a friend and when I say it was no let down, I truly mean that. The staff at the front desk was awesome and the dental assistants were great. And last but not least Dr. Dean was wonderful in spirit and skill. This is the Dentist that you can bring the whole family to and yall can leave there with smiles on your faces. Fun at The Dentist name alone tells you all right off bat lol Thank you Dr. Dean and Staff for being Awesome : )

Wonderful people doing amazing work. My brother is on medicaid, and had been treated poorly by health professionals in his hometown. I live in GJ, so I brought him up to stay for a while. He's been suffering with broken teeth and abscesses for years. The staff here welcomed him and treated him like a person. He is getting the treatment he needs thanks to this establishment. Everyone from reception to the doctors were helpful and kind. I'm almost sad they don't service those with insurance, but I'm also happy they keep themselves available for those most in need.

Dr Miller and her assistants were so very nice today. I have always received the best care in all of the three years I have been going there. Dr Ford and his assistant is always so nice and helpful. I like every one of the staff there. I highly recommend going to .. Fun At The Dentist.....

Best dentist ever! Not only is the level of comfort and care excellent, but the quality of work is too! Dr. Dean is a great leader!
