I was asked to assist a new doctor chair side for her patients that evening, as she did not have an assistant. I reluctantly agreed, making it known that I would be returning to my front desk responsibilities as soon as a full time assistant was hired.
Little did I know this was the day that I started my career in dentistry. The office never hired a full time assistant for that doc; I worked as a chair side dental assistant at that office for 7 years. 22 years later, I am extraordinarily pleased to be a dentist practicing in the vibrant city of Chicago. I am overjoyed to be the practice owner of Fulton River Dental. With the support of my loving husband, Ben Murphy, and my charismatic French bulldog, Franny, Fulton River Dental materialized into a reality from a dream.
